sir that is my emotional support male celebrity that i direct all of my male attraction towards bc he is a highly idealized man that is safe to lust after because he cannot hurt me!!!!!!!
youâre growing from whatever youâre going through. you will realize what matters and what doesnât. the mistakes you made, people who left, fresh in your mind, will fade into irrelevance. you will fall in love with cities and notice moments other people miss. you will come across unexpected new things that make you happy. you will soften your edges and open yourself to possibilities. you will be inspired to see the world differently. maybe wake up earlier or starting a new journal or smiling more. you will find a home that is warm and cozy and yours. you will have big realizations from the smallest of things. from movies and books and conversations to heartbreak and lyrics. something good will come out of all the bad days and failures. you will start new every morning. you will get rid of the self-defeating thoughts and replace them with healing ones. you will see the beautiful features in your reflection and see someone worth taking care of. you will get up every morning and feel excited for the day you planned. more days than not youâll feel content. you will connect with someone who will be like the soulmate you always wished you had when you were younger. you will make yourself a nice meal, open the blinds, walk up a hill during sunset and it wonât be a chore. you will love yourself and take care of yourself. it will get better.
you will be okay. you will be okay. you will be okay. you will be okay. you will be okay. you will be okay. you will be okay. you will be okay. you will be okay. you will be okay. you will be okay. you will be okay. you will be okay. you will be okay. you will be okay.
i wrote half an essay in 20mins today when itâs not even due for another 4 weeks, reblog this to have a productivity lightning bolt strike you like it did me today

Please read if youâre a student
You are NOT PROCRASTINATING, if - youâre sick - you have headache - you feel pain - youâre exhausted - you feel anxious - you have had big changes in your life that make you feel tired/restless/anxious/sad - you have to skip a class/take rest because of reasons I mentioned above. Itâs not procrastinating. Youâre not lazy. Everyone needs to have rest and take care of themselves when theyâre sick. IT IS NOT OKAY TO WORK IN PAIN. Donât burn out. Itâs not worth it. Do not feel guilty. After some rest and relaxing you will study even more effectively. If you feel pain, - take a medicine if it works for you - put all of your books away - take warm shower - eat at least 1 healthy thing and 1 treat/feel-good-food, drink water - go to bed, sleep or read a book/listen to music that is not related to your school (if you have headache/migraine I suggest you to switch off the lights and just sleep) - just take your time - itâll be all okay.
I want to acknowledge all those who are making decisions to explore the unknown this year. Whether that be trying a new craft, going to therapy, attending school, traveling somewhere new, changing your look, practicing new behaviors and ways of being, reading a new author, applying for a job, starting a creative project, beginning a healing regime - or really doing anything that feels like a step into new territory. Itâs important to recognize how much courage it takes to leave an established comfort zone in order to grow. Even if youâre taking baby steps you are still moving forward. You are brave. Keep going.Â
i finished packing for my move,,,i donât feel ready at all. iâm gonna miss my family and home so much,,,i canât believe itâs already time for me to leave. my brother said iâd definitely cry and heâs right HAHAHA
but even so i canât wait! its a little bittersweet, but iâm ready to try my hand at being independent. itâs a new start after all, and iâm so so curious as to what itâll bring
a preface of me
hi there! my name is fiona, and iâll be starting my freshman year of college in two (yes, 2!) days. welcome to my new studyblr!
iâm super hyped but also really nervous, so i wanted to start up a blog for me to track my experiences. to be honest, i struggle a lot with procrastination and a lack of motivation, so i figured a studyblr might help me get into a productive mood. i havenât always been very active on tumblr but iâll try my best starting now!
a few quick tidbits about me:
taiwanese
virgo and infp
iâm passionate about stationary but consequently tend to overbuy haha
i really enjoy art (although i donât know if iâm any good at it) and i love DIY-ing so that may pop up around this blog from time to time
i used to read a lot but iâve been in a bit of a slump,,,im trying to get back into it!!
i tend to listen to a lot of pop and kpop; some of my favorite artists are lauv, ariana grande, ed sheeran, bts, dean, and chungha!
iâm bilingual (english and mandarin chinese), but iâm looking to expand my knowledge of languages - one of my life goals is to be a polyglot haha
currently aiming to major in literature and creative writing, but iâm taking my freshman year to explore all types of subjects so i get a better idea of what i want to do
my goals for and with this blog include:
being more productive and studying mindfully
sharing my college experiences and any advice that i come up with or stumble upon
learning a new language - currently self-studying korean!
participating in this lovely community and gaining inspiration from others (maybe one day iâll also be able to inspire haha)
hopefully making some new friends :)
a couple blogs that i enjoy and admire:
@studyquill @universtudy @emmastudies @surviveschool @studyspiration-coffee @teacupstudies @sonderstudy
iâm soso excited to be embarking on this new part of life, and hopefully iâll be able to grow and flourish on the way :)
10 self-love-encouraging questions to ask yourself from here
will this choice propel me towards an inspiring future, or will it keep me stuck in the past?
will this choice bring me long-term fulfilment or short term gratification?
am i standing in my power or am i trying to please another?
am i looking for whatâs right or am i looking for whatâs wrong?
will this choice add to my life force or will it rob me of energy?
will i use this situation as a catalyst to grow and evolve, or will i use it to beat myself up?
does this choice empower or disempower me?
is this an act of self-love or self-sabotage?
is this is an act of faith (love) or fear?
am i choosing from my divinity or am i choosing from my humanity?

back to school reminders:
your grades donât define you
mental health is a priority
not doing some homework assignments isnât the end of the world
turn things in on time even if they arenât completely done
you donât need a perfect GPA to go to college
apply for scholarships
drama is exhausting; try to avoid it
ask for help when you need it
you arenât stupid for not knowing everything
not every friend is a real one
teachers arenât always right
everyone makes mistakes
you can do it
think about all the cute people youâve seriously crushed on in class or the times youâve looked at a stranger and realized how beautiful they looked in that moment, flecks of gold light hitting the tips of their eyelashes, deep in thought, rosy-cheeked and unknowingly captivating
now think about how many times thatâs likely happened to you but no one voiced it. just like you have secretly admired others, others have admired you. someone has been silently overwhelmed with the uniqueness of your features or the smoothness of your voice. even though you might not always be told how beautiful you are, remember this. and maybe even tell someone the next fleeting compliment you have, because people arenât reminded often enough just how beautiful they are
ok universe, iâm ready to feel good things. make me feel good things.
whenever i post this it works reblog if u want to feel good things & the universe will bring u something sweetÂ
How to start again â¨
delete apps and social media that lowers your moodÂ
wear a new scent, throw away things you donât need, delete contacts of people who make you feel unworthy, unfollow social media that makes you feel bad in any way
make a new playlist that makes you feel confident and happyÂ
in a journal, write down why you want to change, the traits of the person you truly want to be, the places you want to go and people that make you feel inspired
write down the things that stop you and bad habits you have, and replace those with new mindsets and habitsÂ
before you sleep, make a detailed, achievable routine for the next day, that includes everything you want to do, including activities that genuinely make you happy
try new hobbies, like baking/cooking, playing a musical instrument, making art, learning a new skill, a sport, or a new language. you can easily get free resources onlineÂ
think about the ideal version of yourself. you can be like that, if you try your best and work hard.Â
do not overwork yourself or set overly lofty daily goals and forget to do things like drink water. make your sleep and health your number one priority.
spend less time on your phone scrolling through social media. have a method of focusing on other things, like Pomodoro method or using the Forest app.Â
if you canât concentrate, commit yourself to doing it for 5 minutes. once you get into the flow itâs much easier to concentrate.
be patient and kind with yourself. itâs hard to change overnight. youâre the only one who can help change you, so be a friend to yourself.
once you start something, promise yourself you will finish it.Â
have new weekly routines, like going to a cafe every Wednesday afternoon or indulging in your favourite tv show every Friday night.
do not deny yourself of good things; there needs to be a balance. similarly, do not be too generous and overdo it too much.Â
dedicate a day to clean your room and organize your things if you feel stressed out.Â
it may feel scary to change, as you may feel like itâs not the real you. but youâre still you, just the best version of yourself.
have a relaxing morning routine to look forward to, like making a nice breakfast, having a skin care routine, stretches, journalling, or thinking about nothing for a few minutes
have a mental image that makes you excited to do something. visualize yourself completing the goal and concentrate on it every morning.
however, learn not to rely on motivation because your brain will often turn off motivation, especially when you first begin something. have a routine, a specific time to do something, and do it.Â
notice the places and people that drain your energy, and try to avoid them. find people who make you feel energized and places that calm you.
think about an enjoyable part of something. for example, when studying you can look forward to learning new things and when exercising, listening to calming music or using nice stationery. itâs actually more fun than you think.Â
even though itâs hard, donât compare yourself. youâre on your own path, and it doesnât matter if people are better than you, because there will always be someone better than everyone. donât be afraid to suck. so draw badly, write bad poems, run slowly, make embarrassing mistakes and fail everything. you canât be good at something unless youâre terrible at something first. and doing anything badly is so much better than doing nothing.
donât tell anyone about your new beginning, just start and let the results speak for themselves.
you can change and be your ideal self. but it will be hard to do that if you donât believe in yourself. so make sure you challenge negative thoughts telling you canât do something. tell yourself firmly that you can do it and then prove your negative thoughts wrong.
