eilonwy hadn't much thought of the holiday in regards to herself. she had been caught up with work and making sure all the kids in the wards felt like they were included in the sweet holiday by dropping them off some colouring and a little chocolate for each of them. candygrams were going round to patients and the heart decorations that adorned the hallways and rooms were a lovely pop of colour to brighten up the place.

"oh, i don't know about that. maybe the second sweetest person around," he smiled fondly at her. it quickly broke out into a grin when eilonwy agreed to the jello. "love strawberry. that's the perfect valentine's day treat." flash shouldered his fake bow-and-heart-arrow and held his hand out for her to take, trying to keep it extremely cool while doing so.

ellie fredricksen had always been a happy person and her levels of pure joy would reach new heights every time she came into contact with one of her nearest and dearest. "keep it up and you might get your own action figure." ellie laughed at his down to clown terminology "it's all about the vibes with you"

"now that might just be the coolest thing ever. ah, you know how it is... we all have our things," flash laughed. it was so true, though. even on flash's gravestone, it would read 'vibing 'til the end'. grooved on into the ground. anyway! he refocused on ellie, barely fighting off a grin at her suggestion. he still had to pretend the idea wasn't totally terrifying, though. "what, you mean like a real, not just 'hanging out', tangible, serious... date?"

"hey there flash, how are you?" he greeted, giving the guy a pat on the shoulder "nah, i've just been coming here more often to keep myself busy...y'know...after the whole..." he shrugged, not quite wanting to get into it yet. in an ideal world, babette and him would figure all this out and they'd live the rest of their lives in bliss - well as close to bliss as their personalities would allow.

"awesome, awesome. just gone done with a driving lesson, we almost managed the perfect parallel park. was it touch and go with some guy's bumper? i'll never say." flash nodded sympathetically at vic's answer, giving him a heart pat on his ridiculously broad shoulders. "hey, not that we're talking about it... but i wouldn't worry, man. you two are like, legendary. mythic. there's no way this sticks."

"hi, i'm good thank you, how are you?" she asked, but got sidetracked with what flash had shown her "these are very professional, flash. they look great. you'll have customers twenty four seven"

"lovin' life, janey! do you like them? aw, thank you for saying that. i appreciated any well wishes, manifestations or scientific statistics you might have to throw my way. there'll always be a friends and family discount in it for you," he grinned. "and you can pick the music."

"flash! these look so fab!" she clapped her hands "hang on, let me take a photo. i'll post it on my socials for you, my local followers would love to know that there's someone running a cab service" charlotte pulled out her phone and snapped a quick photo to upload to her instagram.

"thank you, lottie! that means a lot coming from the queen of starrin' and stylin'," he grinned, a grateful hand pressed over his heart. flash watched as she pulled her phone out, well aware of all the power it wielded in her hands. "are you sure? that's so kind of you. i don't know if i'm emotionally prepared to take on the fame this'll bring but i'll do my best. promise you'll knocked me down a peg if it changes me?"

"i'm well thank you freddie, how are you?" she asked. persephone looked to the card he was holding out to her "very clever tag line. they look wonderful. why don't you give me a few of your business cards and i'll give them to the bar staff at mount olympus for them to use as a line for any patrons looking to order a cab home"

"walking on air, persephone. how are the kiddos? what are they like-," flash held his hand above the ground at his shin, then knee, then waist- "uh, yay height? now." at her offer, he couldn't help but breaking out into a giant grin. "that would be the sweetest thing. are you sure? i mean, i'd love that."

since the break up with babette, victor had doubled down on his gym time to keep himself preoccupied. even with sultan running around, the house was too quiet. with his second gym trip of the day in full swing, victor finished up his run on the treadmill and headed over towards the water station to rehydrate.

flash had dropped off a student at the gym after they'd almost successfully paralleled parked. he hopped into the gym to get a gatorade out of the machine (he had a membership, sure, but he'd been meaning to cancel it for... what? four years?). that's when he saw victor over at the water station.

"flash, flash, hundred yard dash" she breamed, giving him a big hug after he finished his bottle of water.

flash grinned even wider when ellie pulled him into a big hug. if anything could heal the whole world, it was ellie frederickson's hugs. "aw, you're too kind. do you think they'll put up posters of me after? posing with the broom? i think i could really work that campaign. i can't say that i have... but you know me, i'm down to clown. i'll have to stop by the ice rink some time and see what the vibe's like."

with carl at the hospital on shift, ellie took to the streets with dug to help join in the community efforts of cleaning up any debris after the high winds from halloween that had whipped through the town looking for trouble.

"oh, ellie-bo-bestie... you're a lifesaver as always," flash greeted with a big grin, taking this opportunity to glug down an entire bottle of water.

"You look like you have a good eye for this sort of thing," Sunny called out, flagging down the person closest by. "Tell me, which of these trees would you say best embodies the spirit of Christmas?"

"Oh, what an awesome question! You totally came to the right guy. Let me, like, feel out their vibes here-," Flash started, giving a very serious look over their selection. "Mm... this one is giving me something, but might be a little on the shedding side. This one, though, woah. Listen close, and it's practically singing Wham!'s 'Last Christmas'."

Flash felt like he'd blinked between catching up with Sally at the start of the night versus now. How quickly things seemed to go wrong in this town, huh? At least this time it was just freaky weather, that much they could handle. He looked Sally over as she replied, wondering if she really was okay. "Oh, I'm just under-serious. Cool as a cucumber. A serial under-reactor. But, uh, yeah... Happy to help wherever I can, Sally. Are you sure you're alright? I can get you some water or something, if you want?"
