PERSONA 3 SPOILERS!!!

Ken gets so much hate. People say he’s the reason Shinjiro died.

I doubt the people who say this even played the game (watched the movies, or read the manga), and if they did, they definitely didn’t pay attention to the story.

Ken witnessed his mother get killed right in front of him when he was just 8-9 years old, then he had to grow up with everybody telling him she died in “an accident”.

When he found out who the murderer was, he saw the chance for revenge. To kill the man who killed his mother.

Now, if you rewatch the scene before jumping to conclusions, Ken changed his mind and never actually went through with it. Takaya was the one who shot him.

Shinjiro specifically says “this is how it should be”, right before he dies.

He was gonna die regardless, it would’ve just been delayed.

When you take the drugs he was taking, your body weakens and you’ll eventually collapse. That’s why he always wore that coat, his body temperature wasn’t normal.

He was already dying. It wasn’t Ken’s fault.

When Takaya says he wants to kill the one from S.E.E.S who has the navigation powers, Ken doesn’t even hesitate for a second to say that he’s the one. He literally saved Fuuka’s life.

He would’ve died to protect Fuuka. You all need to stop ignoring the facts.

If you dislike him, that’s fine. But it does not change the fact that he was a hero.

And do not forget he was a kid who even considered taking his own life..
