I think it’ll be a similar flavor to red. Proof: I made it up in my head
okay so here is my weird little pet theory for taylor’s discography (theory is sort of the wrong word because it’s my own thinking rather than her intentional doing). to me her albums sort of fit into four categories:
group A: debut, folklore
group B: fearless, 1989, midnights, TLOAS
group C: speak now, reputation, TTPD
group D: red, lover
i find evermore hard to categorize, which is why it is left out, but it’s probably closest to group D. showgirl also has elements of group A to me but it is too influenced by public perception (not in a bad way, these albums just have a very untarnished unaffected quality) and sort of group D (but is too sleek, which is why i put it into group B).
i would like to see TS13 be another group A album, but i think it could also realistically be a group D.
ok let’s poll the class
choose your fighter
group A
group B
group C
group D
evermore
what do you think TS13 will be?
group A
group B
group C
group D
evermore
group E (new, unlike any previous work in sound form or style)
