long post ahead

an introduction of sorts to Gibs. he is an alaskan husky (reluctantly) coming up on 11 years this summer. he loves old man hobbies like napping after dinner, smacking his lips, sighing heavily, looking at birds through the windows and also peeing every ten minutes.

he is a rescue, and ive had him in my care for 6 ish years now. he is a very careful little soul and a bit scared of everything (tragic backstory and all that), but he is also a perpeteous perpetrator of petty crime (sneakily stealing food you had forgotten on the counter). he would not himself classify these instances as crime, but simply deem himself deserving of these treats he has achieved, but he is an unreliable judge i am afraid.

he is reluctantly a husky and by that i mean he shivers from cold during mid summer, hates the rain and will turn around in the doorway, and he would honestly rather lounge on the sofa and frolic in the garden than run in front of skis or sled. he does not really see the point in running to exhaustion for funsies, but he can appreciate a run if in company of other dogs.
