The specials didn't set out to honour Doctor Who as a show, like the 50th anniversary did, but the Doctor himself. What the specials essentially did, and which I personally think is wonderful, is display their respect towards the Doctor as a character. It basically said "We see all that you've done for humanity. All that you've lost. All that you've suffered. Just to keep it safe. And we say thank you. You can rest now." And I think that is so beautiful

if i had a nickel for every time the doctor had some weird regeneration where they end up as david tennant with a family, i would have two nickels. which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it has happened twice

objectively speaking that was a copout. a little fix-it fic loophole so Russel didn't have to get rid of his favorite guy again. and I recognize that. but seeing as he happens to also be my favorite guy, I don't think I care

On the last one Deuteranomaly and Protanomaly are identical though

What I’m getting from this is that there are a lot more colorblind people in the world than even colorblind people know.

WAIT! DEUTERANOMALY AND PROTANOMALY IS THE SAME! IT’S THE FUCKING SAME! WHAT ARE YOU GUYS TALKING ABOUT?????

The deuteranomaly and protanomaly ones are very similar but they are different. The purple section ranges out a little farther to the right in the protanomaly one. Not seeing the difference between might not indicate color blindness but rather difficulty with color differentiation.

The green is also slightly more vivid in the protanomaly strip than it is in the deuteranomaly one.
