the thing about blogging is that although i desire to post my mildest thoughts of my mundane life, there is no audience i’m attracting. i highly doubt anyone would ever read this. this post is too long, there are no photographs, reading is boring, blah. blah. blah. but really, the thing about blogging is that i want someone to read it. i want someone to read all my stupid quotes and rambles and think wow, hey, we’re alike / you inspire me / you’re pathetic / we could be friends irl bruh / you’re brilliant / you’re awful / blah. blah. blah. anything. just someone who can relate or let me know that these thoughts are not just of my little mind, but of someone else’s too. that’s the other thing about blogging. you don’t hear me talking, i’m not saying “like” between every sentence, laughing when i sound a little awkward about something, or using any other weird social distractions we all do. instead, you hear it as i do, in my head, my thoughts, the way you think to yourself when you’re reflecting on something. the way you read a book. the way you read poetry.
