Bless the mod for being patient with me instead of outright banning me. Also I decided to go back and edit this post because I feel terrible now for overreacting after this whole copyright troll issue eating me up today.
TIL that you can sample audio from random video games as a no-talent internet rapper and be allowed to claim it as your own but if you dare to play said game and post it online as-is then you'll get hit by content ID claims because copyright is srs biz and is never, ever wrong. 🫠 Oh and both YT and Twitch want me to give them my information to appeal it, which is totally not a sus thing to ask for because it's totally safe! Pffft!
I've been pestering Tiktok's support since signing up due to being unable to follow anyone and they keep saying that there's "suspicious engagement behavior" from my account because... *checks notes* I'm trying to use a social media's basic functions as intended?? 🤔 Imagine being brand new to Tumblr or whatever social media site you want, you've signed up and got your profile set up and decided to give a couple accounts a follow because they seem to post content that vibes well with you only to find that you're automatically unfollowed by them! You go back and look to see that they haven't blocked you. Maybe they soft blocked you? So you try with a different account you like only to have the same thing happen! You reach out to support and they tell you that because you're trying to follow someone, one of the main functions of the site, you're deemed suspicious and you can't follow anyone! Now why would anyone wanna stick around if they're completely barred from using a site as intended because everything they do is considered "suspicious" by their systems?
It ain't worth it at all, so I just deleted my account on Tiktok and never gonna use their site ever again! 😡 Such a shame too since I liked some of the cat videos!
Wow it's been a while! I kinda forgot about this, sorries! 😓 So recently I heard that in celebration of Minecraft's 15th anniversary they're giving away 3 free capes with 2 of them requiring different social media sites in order to claim them and I really wanted that cool looking Tiktok one so I decided to sign up for it! Big mistake!
Turns out that in order to claim it I needed to use the mobile app which I found out right after signing up on the website on PC which was kinda annoying! 🤦♂️ On the mobile app you go to the livestreaming section, look for a Minecraft streamer in your region and type "Minecraft" in chat. Since Tiktok apparently uses the information in your saved contacts to show suggested accounts to follow 😱, I didn't wanna do that or deal with it being hard to impossible to uninstall afterwards like some apps out there so I decided to run it through an Android emulator on PC. It was pretty slow to use so I uninstalled it from my PC after I was able to successfully claim the cape! The things I do to look fashionable in gaming... 😓 Luckily the capes for Tiktok and Twitch aren't permanently locked onto the Bedrock Edition and will be made available for use in Java Edition around July 8th so by then I'll be able to rock that cape with my Zebstrika skin! 🥺 In the meantime my Fidget skin in the Bedrock Edition will be lookin' good!
I figured that now that my goal was complete, I might as well give Tiktok a li'l looksy-loo! I found a few of the people from the videos reposted to here like THE EFFING CHOCOLATE GUY😍, the Square Hole Lady and the Ice Cream Guy so I faved those videos of the former 2 and gave them all a follow! I poked around a bit and noticed that liking some videos will have cause the site to automatically undo it a few seconds later for some weird reason as well as automatically unfollow anyone I try to follow which is really super annoying! 😒 I couldn't figure out how to fix it and every solution I found was only for the app instead of the website so I tried to reach out to support for help. Later on they responded and after some back and forth they said that it's because they've detected "suspicious engagement behavior" from my account so I'm temporarily unable to follow anyone even though it's a brand new one! One of the suggestions they gave was only for the app, which I had told them initially that I can't use in the first place.
While looking around for more help in the meantime I noticed that there's a lot of comments on both Tiktok and Reddit saying that they've had similar issues with being unable to follow anyone and that it's lasted sometimes up to 6 MONTHS 😡 for some people! It's been a little over 2 weeks and I still can't follow anyone so I'm just gonna delete it by the end of the week because it's just absolutely frustrating!

I just randomly got the titles "the final deity of destruction" from the catalog and I'm kicking myself so much because it would have been PERFECT for my old ign, Soul Forgo! 😭 I wanted to use it to make "Chaotic Deity of Destruction" but alas I've been "World's Best Curly Hair" for ages and will keep it! Still no sign of the "gamer" parts though...
With my yebby OC Arrows, a sloppy doodle of a woomy suffering from forced losses I made for someone for the lulz that constantly begs for free art, my weyyo OC Oliver and now wanting a fat veemo OC because everyone in the threads kept talking about wanting them, I think I got a full team of silly little OCs to play around with! I played around a bit with outfits and such so I got sort of a basic rough idea of how I want everyone to look! Sadly I can't change their body sizes or anything so I'm sorry about that!

I've no name for her yet but she's cursed with forced losses during pvp! If she's on your team, expect to lose in the most ridiculous way possible! She's the tomboy compared to her Octoling counterpart and hates getting all dolled up! While Salmon Run shifts are a little better compared to battles, she still gets super salty from everyone not working very well and often has to yell at Oliver whenever they're at the Ruins of Ark Polaris because he's too fascinated by the ruins to focus on work!

My boy Arrows in 2 different outfits, one for his N-ZAP '89 and the other for his S-BLAST '92! Hardcore gamer with a diet full of trash, poor sleep schedule and spends all his money on games, toys and anime! Oliver tries to get him to try to eat a more balanced, proper meal instead of just grazing on snacks but it never works out!

Oliver and his parents came up to the surface years ago when many Octolings heard Calamari Inkantation during the battle against DJ Octavio and Agent 3! He was a young Octoling at the time and befriended Arrows where they're been close ever since! Since coming to the surface, he's got a younger brother who was born outside of Octoling society so he's more or less like everyone else in general society! He also had an older sister who was a part of the Octoling soldiers but she refused to leave for the surface since she didn't hear the song. He and his parents don't talk about her ever since she stopped writing to them. 😢

I've no name for her yet but she's a heavyset Octoling who enjoys spending her hard-earned cash from battles and Salmon Run shifts on shopping for cute clothes and decorations for her locker! She's the strongest out of her friends due to her preferred weapons and wants to be able to become strong enough to walk out of the mall carrying every single piece of clothing, accessory and shoe in a single trip without dropping anything! So far her record is 30 stores out of 100! 😲 Unlike her friends who will happily gobble down chow from the Crab-N-Go right before battle, she would rather take her time even if it means eating hours ahead to prevent getting anything on her clothes otherwise she'll spend a while going through her fully stocked locker for a clean top and look for other accessories and shoes to match it! Her friends have learned to never get her clothes dirty and to never drag her into battle before she could look nice...

I was gonna give Splatoon 3 a break but the next day after my last post I jumped into Splatoon 2 for a bit of Turf Wars for old time's sake then I ended up reinstalling 3 on the same day because I'm too hooked on it! XD I decided to try leveling up all my weapons to 1 star again so that I can get a license from that to buy more and eventually have a nice little pile of them to use when new weapons come out! It... um... some of the weapons make me wanna yeet Sheldon into the ocean because of how much I hate them.
Now that the new season started, I've gone back to work on the new ones that came out! The S-BLAST '92 is super amazing as a concept but blasters in general aren't my thing because of how slow they are but I'll keep working at it to git gud at this one because I really want to use it! Since I had already leveled up all my blasters to 1 star that were already out during the Fresh Season, I've already known about some of its quirks like blaster hopping so it wasn't much of a shock to use the S-BLAST '92! I'm keeping track of what weapons I've leveled up to 1 and noting down how I feel about them so that it's easier for me to remember which ones besides my mains are fun to use and which ones are trash! Nothing will make me like the chargers though. Well maybe if they add a new one based on another Nintendo controller but I can't think of any that would suffer such a fate.

I've decided that I'll rearrange some outifts and abilities so that I'll have one for my N-ZAP '89 and S-BLAST '92! The default outfit for my OC, Arrows, is the Do-Rag, Cap, & Glasses/Retro Gamer Jersey/Crazy Arrows but I've said a few times that he wears the Takoroka Rainbow Tie Dye underneath the jacket! I've also grown so fond of the Seafoam 'Phones and it kinda makes me feel like Dashie (I wish he'd play Splatoon 3 so I can laugh at him raging at that! 😭) so I've decided to keep using it for an alternative outfit!

So this is what I plan on running:

I call my Hydra outfit "Fireyeb outfit" because I wanted to dress up like a firefighter! 👨🚒 It took a bit to learn how to use it, first starting with the Heavy Splatling to get the basics down first then used the Hydra more and more! I got some good advice from other players for how to learn it and what abilities to use for it along with some ability suggestions for the N-ZAP '89 outfit!
For the rest of the Sizzle Season update, I love that we're getting a bunch of Nintendo systems to decorate our lockers with and their names crack me up sooo much! 🤣🤣 They sound like really crusty bootleg systems! I'm def gonna redo my entire locker when I get all of them so that it looks like a gamer's locker instead of a firefighter's locker! As much as I love my firefighter themed locker, it's time for a change! I've yet to get the "Gaming" or "Gamer" titles so I'm still trying for that! But I think I've grown too fond of my "World's Best Curly Hair" that I have on my splashtag so I think I'll be keeping it for a while still!
Ever have a Salmon Run rotation so awful due to the combination of internet issues and being matched up with the worst freelancers that were obviously yeeted into EVP by their frustrated teammates that you just wind up uninstalling the game altogether and don't even want to talk about Splatoon ever again? Yeah that happened. But lemme back up to how I got here cuz I'm super behind on posting my progress! It's gonna be a while so put on some Yorksire Tea!
So a while ago I did the unthinkable and managed to break out of Profresh +3 and get to EVP 40 in freelance, which was quite the achievement for me due to getting really lousy teammates there! Next rotation I actually formed a work crew with some new frens I made from the active pool I joined a while back when I was pool hopping to find someone to order the Crazy Arrows off of! Despite the lack of real-time communication, we did very well and even beat Zuna twice! There I was thinking that perhaps I was overestimating my Salmon Running skills and I would be better suited in Profresh instead of EVP because it was more chaotic and challenging to meet the quotas! I was considering demoting myself for the next rotation but that one ended up being Marooner's Bay so I decided to just skip that and go for the next one instead but I ended up not demoting myself cuz I figured that hey, maybe the freelancers would be better there like what others have said!
Then there's this rotation... First it was the constant com errors to the point where I was getting a bunch of temp bans. When it did let me in, my connection just DROPPED about halfway through the first wave or the start of the second wave. If not, then I ended up with eggstreme egg lag and would lose 2 other players before the lag goes away. We never survived those shifts when that happened. After my connection went back to normal, I kept getting matched up with THE WORST players imaginable! I've seen my share of bad teammates commonly on Marooner's Bay then there's the tourists that join only during Big Run and the tourists and noobs at launch. Ohh ho boy, those guys are major league gamer EVP 999 pros compared to the guys I kept getting matched up with tonight! It got to the point where I just ended up blocking everyone whenever we didn't make it past wave 2. By then it was almost 6 hours since I encountered my 2nd Zuna and was nearing like 7000p when I normally play up to 4000p for ability chunk farming. So I ended up blocking when we didn't clear all 3 waves after we kept wiping with an egg left or before time ran out when we met quota. 6 hours with a full king salmonid meter... I ended up finally getting my 3rd Zuna and like usual, we lost that but I got a silver scale at least. I'm at like uh 37 and I'm trying to get 50 for the Yellow Gloopsuit.
I was so frustrated from tonight that I just ended up uninstalling the game altogether and don't want to touch it until the Splatfest starts. I might just skip this one altogether because Frye's just gonna lose once again if I pick her and win if I pick someone else or don't play it.
I decided to draw Arrows today on paper after I had a really good Splatoon 3 session! I think the band-aids on his cheek and knee look really cool so I'll prolly include those more often!
I think the highest I ever got was to Profresh +3 50 but then I get demoted like crazy because we end up wiping or not meeting quota in waves 1 and 2 from the freelance teams having a Kiki or 2 or 3! And my buds wonder why I'm so super bossy and yell at them whenever we play SR together!
This next Splatfest is gonna be a hard one to pick because it's a Zelda themed one apparently and personally I'd seek Power but it seems like Frye will go with Wisdom... It's hard stanning your idol of choice sometimes because what side they support in Splatfests isn't always what you'd personally go with! Watch and if I abandon Frye and pick Power, Wisdom will win lol!
