Describing "god's" work, the amalgamation, the state of purity, and "heaven" itself.
"For documentation purposes, please describe the Thousand Purified/Reborn." The documenter just stared at their clip board, ignoring the witness soldier. They look tired- it feels like they've been doing this all day to even care anymore.
"T-this has to be a joke... it has to be! "What do you mean describe it? All you need to know is that it was an eldritch amalgamation of people! Were the other interviews not enough!?" the soldier yelled, voice trembling. Whatever he... they all saw, it seems to be affecting their psyche in different ways.
Asking the same question all the time, getting nearly different but same answers, all from the soldiers who had a run in or tried to fight it, anyone could see it. Some, like this one, were heavily traumatized. Others went mad. Few... began a similar mindset to the necromancer cult; those who showed the mindset were dealt with quickly for they may start or rebuild the destroyed cult.
"But... if... if you insist then fine."
"It had melting and goopy flesh that it would drip down to the floor, and leave a rotting mess. It's size... it almost seemed to be the height of a titan... but it wasn't. I saw a titan once, I know what they look like-"
"And that monster... was taller than it. I'm starting to think they put a titan in there!"
That's an interesting input, thought the documenter. Others said it was exactly the height or at least a bit shorter than it.
"It's legs... they looked hardened and were wide... Something like the trunk of that history tree or whatever. Two stumps formed the foot- but the stumps... the legs... had something coming out of it."
"Legs came out of the legs, and more came out of the other legs. They all came after each other! Mangled and still! It felt like it'd never end... an infinite birth of..."
"The same went for the arms. Arms coming out of arms, fingers coming out of fingers. Only except... they were moving. They weren't still like the legs. They thrashed around, grabbing at anything- To relieve their suffering? I don't know..."
"Is it alright now? Can we stop- I-I don't want to continue..." But the data wasn't complete yet; the surface of this soldier's recollection has barely been scratched.
"No. Keep going," the documenter said harshly. They're growing more irritated the more these people keep asking to not give their full perspective.
"Seriously?! It isn't enough for-!"
Good. Someone who doesn't need any extra convincing, and complies properly.
"That was for its main body, the thing everyone could see. The details though... they will still be the things that haunt me. Eyes, mouth, teeth everywhere and... they protruded from the skin that had a mix of different skin tones."
"Eyes were darting frantically, they were scared and aware of everything; Teeth just stood there like spikes in the ground, and some of them had body pinned tot hem; Mouths... they were moving and biting and... Screaming. They all were screaming in unison. In pain. A trail of screams followed wherever it went- but it wasn't from the people..."
"Most of the time.. no... IT ALWAYS came from the monster. A haunting choir."
"The last part... it's face... No... FACES."
"I-I need water-! I think I'm going to vomit again just by-"
"On top of its body was a blob- melting like the rest of its body. It was the head; we tried to look at it in a better angle... to see the full picture."
"Thousands upon thousands of faces were plastered there. They were all alive- of course they were, it was a fucking undead- their expression in agony. Mouth agape and frozen. They were all tightly packed into that blob and covered it all around..."
"No more... NO MORE OF THIS!"
The recollection was over. They covered every important part- and again, aside from the size, each recollection appeared to be similar to the others.
"Thank you for your cooperation. You may go. Condolences to you and the people who laid eyes on the Thousand Purified/Reborn."
In the dead of night, weeks after the encounter with the cult, their 'god' and the monster.
"Necromancers... Necromancer... That elf is a sick man. May he burn in the deepest pits of hell, suffering the fate he inflicted to others."
"I will never be the same ever again."
"I can't stop seeing it... I want to stop seeing it..."
"I just want it to stop... be gone..."
"And now I see only one way to..."
"It's now... or damnation forever..."
"I'm sorry, my love... but I cant anymore..."
