He is member of the parliament for a while. During the corona pandemic he was health minister and was heavily under fire for buying masks for billions of euros that were never needed. In fact they were burned for a lot of money. He got away with that.

He told people to stay at home and was caught partying in his house with a large group of friends. He got away.

He is in a party (CDU) with a lot of very christian people who don´t support gay marriage. When it was legal he married his longtime partner.

Not long ago he spoke as parlamentary group leader against surrogacy in germany and it is still forbidden in germany.

Now it turns out he and his partner got a baby from.....the United States, where surrogacy is allowed. His partner is the baby daddy.

Congratulations. But what a cowardly act.

He retired as parlamentary group leader for his party yesterday after heavy criticism to "focus on his family life". He is still member of the parliament with all privileges and fees.

And he has a lot of connections to the "secret" group of Peter Thiel and was on the guest list of for some of the meetings. Why could that be?
