The one uniting thing for hockey players regardless of team league age gender location tournament etc is that they love to shove the opposing team into the goaltender and then get mad at that the player they shoved into the goaltender is now touching their goaltender

For someone who loves to sleep, you'd think I'd be able to

no because the thing is I actually get really really weepy when I think about little sidney crosby who’s gods newest gift to hockey, so much better than everyone around him that he’s bullied and ostracized and doesn’t have control over the “old boys club” he’s expected to captain as a teenager, who leads a team for 20 years, whose favorite part of the game is just being part of the team, who bakes banana bread for his guys, who picks them up at the airport even after they’re traded, who “saves them” by just being there to talk to. I mean yeah he’s one of the best hockey players the world has ever seen but he’s here to play a game with his friends :)
