When he lets him go, Daniel is out of breath and hard as a rock. He feels dazed already, but then Armand’s amber eyes lock onto his and a brain fog settles over him, making him feel heavy. “You want to be a victim so bad,” Armand says, amusement and mockery in his voice in equal measure. The brain fog lifts, but Daniel still feels strangely subdued. “Do you want to be my victim, Daniel? Do you want to be powerless?”
