This time, we're going back to our beloved vampires, straying from my previous Human AU.

It will be a canon divergent fanfic, starting right before the first episode of season 1.

Here's the (temporary) summary. It might get reworked:

After his Parkinson's diagnosis, Daniel Molloy decided to indulge his good old cravings. Perhaps a little too much.

Suffering an overdose, Daniel founds himself being hospitalized in a luxury medicalized nursing home, under the watchful gaze of the staff.

Struggling to adjust to this new life, he's suddenly put under the care of a specialized caretaker hired specifically to facilitate his integration. A strange, intriguing man, named Rashid.

Basically, in this AU, Daniel was sent to the retirement home before he received the tapes, so he has not recovered most of his memories yet, and he definitely didn't go to Dubai, as he did in the show.

Writing a biography about a Ballet Dancer... Had Daniel Molloy's career really fallen so low? Yet, when he learned it would be the opportunity to work with his daughter, Indie Documentary Filmmaker Lenore Molloy, Daniel relented. Accepting to fly to San Francisco to meet with Armand de Romanus, famous Ballet dancer of The Romanus Ballet Ensemble, Daniel is convinced he's about to write the most uninteresting and bland puff piece of his career. Neither Daniel nor Lenore could have guessed the dark secrets they were about to uncover, as they're getting to know Armand and his mysterious adopted father, infamous choreographer Marius de Romanus...
