Kalim: Eh, is playing with figures considered childish? I do that whenever I go home.

A long time ago, I told my father that I wondered what our home looked like from above.

So he got a model of the entire building built and put it in a dedicated room.

Hm... At first, it was as big as the Carpet I think.

At that time, the model was only of the palace but before I noticed, the gardens were recreated too.

The model gets bigger and bigger every time my home gets something added to it.

Every time we buy new furniture, replicas gets added to me and my siblings' rooms...

Something changes every time I look at it. Sometimes I don't even notice what, hahaha!

Yeah! Our models are incredible! The miniature clocks and furnitures are fully functional...

The roof and walls are made of the same material as the house so they look identical.

Water flows from the marble fountains and I heard they recreated grass and trees using moss and stuff.

So it's so accurate to the real thing that it makes me feel like I've grown super tall.

Ah, and! The ceiling of the room it's stored in has monitors and sprinklers...

So I can freely change the time and weather. Like alternate between day and night or make it rain.

When it'son night mode and you flip the switch on the side of the model, the whole thing lights up and it looks amazing.

Oh, yeah, the miniature elephants and camels can put on a parade and–

Kalim: Hey, hey! Since you came all the way here, there's something I want to show you.

Here! That's my beloved scale model corner!

Grim: Oh, that's a model of a big building.

Hm? Now that I rea~lly look at it, I've seen those red round roofs somewhere befo... Ah, it's this dorm!

Kalim: Exactly. I have a scale model of my house but I really wanted one of our dorm too.

Grim: Wow, real water came out of the fountains! And now there are lots of lights everywhere.

Yuu: > It's a gorgeous scale model...

That mechanism is amazing...

Kalim: It's even better when it moves and lights up, isn't it. That's why I got that mechanism installed.

And there isn't just a building, I have plenty of animal models.

Grim: E~h, there are cobras, camels and elephants. There's a lot of different ones.

Kalim: Grim, Yuu. Let's play with them.

and when you're (rather poorly) disguised in his hometown, during ace's day off, you see him playing with the children and he is so awfully sweet, and he sees YOU the stoic prince(ss), eating local sweets and animatedly talking to a clerk at the bookstore ....

and it is so different from how you both act in your respective positions in politics that he is suddenly aware of his status, how at least DEUCE has a chance with you (and he knows deuce adores you too. that deuce, despite being a commoner, has risen the ranks to knighthood , so at least he has a chance with you) and ace, as we all know, is far too enamored with you to settle.
