ok so today I got not one but two rejections from jobs I applied for so i'm pretty bummed ngl :'))) might send out a few memes to distract myself but just don't expect a lot of activity 😅

still thinking about how much it must've hurt when kaz said you're passable at demo. you're excellent at hostage in the beginning of soc :))) wylan finally believed he was valued for what he could do instead of scorned for what he couldn't & then he learns that it's all been a lie. & he didn't even manage to survive on his own in the barrel, but most likely only thanks to kaz & the dregs. the only good thing is that he knows he will eventually get the satisfaction of proving kaz' statement wrong bc his father doesn't actually care :)))

good morning I'm just thinking about the way wylan's posture constantly looks like he wants to shrink himself :)))) thinking about him sitting between the girls in episode 2, taking up as little of the space as he possibly can :))) thinking about "oh perfect. covers my whole face" :))))

thinking about how a lot of dominik's anger/hatred towards the lantsovs is fueled by how they treated him (being whipped for nikolai's mistakes as a child, being banished just for letting the prince stay with his family), but that's just not all. It's also him seeing their neighbours in the village starve & knowing that everyone living comfortably at the palace is simply ignoring that suffering. It's him watching his brothers go to war basically as cannon fodder before they even reach adulthood. It's him at least having a vague idea of what Genya is going through & nobody even batting an eye.

ok so I'll go mia for now as I'm with my sisters, BUT even though this might be clear already - I will not acknowledge the show when it comes to my portrayals of genya, dominik, matthias or wylan & I'm still based on the books & my own headcanons. the only thing I might include are certain acting choices/mannerisms bc the actors did kill it with the roles.
