Every man who dated/married/had a kid with a woman and then got together with a man actually being gay (this is primarily something that becomes biphobic when it happens in aggregate, not a single instance)

A man realizing he is attracted to men after having previously been with women and everybody immediately deciding his sexuality is gay (especially if bisexuality is not presented as a possibility)

Bisexuality being presented as gay-lite or a transition phase before someone becomes "really gay"

Bisexuality being presented as transphobic, limiting, or discriminatory

Bisexual characters being presented as less trustworthy, more likely to cheat, etc.

Are butches butches because they love femmes or because there's something about our gender expression? It would seem to be just sort of a moot point, like how many angels can dance on the head of a pin; which came first, the butchness or the lesbianism? Except that there's another one of these great misunderstandings, if you simply identify that butch and femme go together like love and marriage, and horse and carriage, soup and sandwich, then it leaves out butches who are attracted to other butches. It leaves out femmes who want to be with other femmes. It leaves out bisexual butches. It leaves no area at all to define why some women are so masculine and yet are heterosexual. To me, being butch doesn't mean what you do in bed. I mean to be butch on the street, that's what being butch is to me.

you don't have to be skinny, or white, or clean shaven, or cis, or covered in frilly clothing from head to toe to be femme. you could go out in sweatpants and an oversized shirt 90% of the time with no makeup and still be the prettiest femme on the block.
