berrisexual community: i need some help and i’m confused that i might be overthinking this!
i initially dismissed adopting the label for a long time because i thought i didn’t qualify, but could “primary attraction to women” also refer to a choice if it’s under the bi+ umbrella?
what i mean is, i haven’t really been attracted to enough people in a long while to really tell whether i’m overall more attracted to women or men, but i always center my sapphicism and mostly choose to date & center women in my life so i rarely focus on the latter. i tend to put much more emphasis on being WLW and get excited about ending up with one compared to knowing i could end up with a man i’m attracted to but not wanting that. that being said, it’s possible i could still have more frequent or prevalent attraction to men usually.
i know it’s problematic but for the sake of getting the point across easier, i wonder if berrisexual can work like febfem for some people since it’s still a subset of bisexuality’s broad spectrum, where one may or may not have stronger leaning attraction to women but only partners with them anyway. in that case it’s part of their innate sexuality but is more relevant to their conscious preference. plus, pansexuality is more about (lack of) preference than gender quantity/specification, or else it wouldn’t exist separately from bisexual.
it’s okay if i’m wrong and my reasoning doesn’t meet the berri definition’s criteria! even then, i won’t count myself out since i’m still figuring out what percentage i’m attracted to women/men together. a positive answer sure would make the process simpler, though!
and what beautiful shape your love takes.

sapphic flag (gio edition)
tried posting these to my main but the site won’t let me. anyway I wanted to try designing something. here’s a sapphic flag, there's a few versions with simplified stripes (violet, turquoise, yellow, white)
a lot of flags use horizontal or vertical stripes but i wanted to make something with a little more movement and shape. each violet's silhouette/stripes/whatever you want to call it represents a woman's embrace. inspired a lot by the symbolism of the 2 violets on the 2015 flag.
feel free to use, credit my main blog @fluttershy!
more info below, like color + design symbolism.
Sapphic and Achillian flags redesigned-ish. The overall colors remain (aside from Achillian, since I changed the rose from bright green to dark blue), but with a more banner feel to them. Able to be flown horizontally or vertically.
Did this to put my money in my mouth about my post saying flags NEED to be more imaginative and original than just colored stripes. No one can tell but US, and even our older generations are confused. If we want to be unique and have our communities recognized, we have GOT to make them recognizable!

Bisexual, biromantic and/or just generally queer flower enjoyers of tumblr, I come forth asking: is there a bi4bi flower? Like the same way mlm ppl have green carnations and sapphics have violets, may we declare one ours?
I'd gladly suggest the forget-me-not.
It also has bi colours. :3
Funny enough, I was actually thinking either forget-me-nots or white lilies!!!! Explanations for each below!! ✨🩷💜💙✨
White lilies are so nice too! I guess both of them could be bi4bi flowers after all, since they've been used in bi poetry.

r4df3m lesbians on tiktok have now started claiming bisexuals have no right to be called sapphic since it comes from the same origin as lesbian. 🙃 mind you, not only is sapphic widely accepted as an umbrella term, but so much so that many of them refuse to be associated with it! also, throughout all of the bi-lesbian discourse, we’ve been explicitly told to just use sapphic instead (flashbacks to the “justsaysapphic” carrd…). apparently this somehow works simultaneously with the lesbian community needing two terms that mean the exact same thing but i guess they only want to use one and let the other die out. contradictory identity rules are fine when it’s not us making them, i suppose!
anyway, i love my flags! 🫶
conveniently, twitter suddenly recognizes that male-centered lesbians can and do exist when we’re talking about fujoshi lesbians and not just sapphic bisexuals refusing to take being described as male-centered simply because of our orientation in silence 🙄
