For me it almost feels like something has layered on top of my body and connected to my flesh. It feels almost completely real but lighter than it should be like it’s made out of air. I find it hard to describe since it’s my everyday. I almost never don’t have a phantom shift. It makes things really trippy sometimes

We should share our weird therian quirks with each other. I'll go first:

When I'm feeling overstimulated in a crowded space and want to leave but my mom is being super fucking slow, I start snapping my teeth at her and get the feral urge to bite her arm and physically drag her out of that area so we can leave. Would I ever actually bite my mom? Ofc not. But I really want to sometimes. I also used to bite my older brother as a kid. I never broke skin and I didn't understand how risky it was to bite someone at the time. I was just a feral child after all 💖✨️

I’m not exactly a therian but I thought it would be fun to share something similar! When I get really excited or just really happy I snap my jaws in the air. It’s become a very persistent stim lol and definitely part of my species’s body language. I also tend to stamp my feet to convey different emotions like if I do it quickly and harsh I’m agitated, if I do little taps I’m impatient. It’s fun to think about body language especially as a alterhuman :)

A few weeks ago now I put a poll up to see if anyone wants a discord server for the alter humans that are considered too weird. The answer was a pretty clear yes so I bring to you my discord server! It mainly caters to alterhumans especially the ones that aren’t always accepted elsewhere. Some example identities of this might be physicals, biologicals, holotheres, IRLs, shifters, clinical zooanthropes, and many more. This space is about having a spot to be yourself especially if your self is a literal horse in every way or a creature from another world or maybe a human that sometimes changes form. Whatever entity you may be as long as you are respectful and not harmful we want you here! :3

PS: We accept all system origins. Please don’t bring discourse into the server thank you!

Is anyone interested in a discord server that mainly caters to alterhuman individuals that are considered too weird? I mean mostly physical, biological, physical shifters, and Transspecies individuals, essentially ones with more irregular considered identities, that are often criticized for giving the alterhuman umbrella a bad name. I don’t see a lot of them and the ones I find aren’t very active or accept only certain identities under certain circumstances. I feel like it would be nice to have more spaces like that to come together and share each-others experiences but I’m not sure if there is a need or a want. So here is a poll to see.

Is there anyone else that remembers a whole culture and society when it comes to their species? I’m something that I can find no information on in this reality, it’s like we never existed here and I don’t ever see any entity talking about that type of situation or at least I haven’t yet. I don’t know. It just feels almost lonely remembering a society that no other entity seems to know about.
