Meg is undoubtedly being abused by her family, she is often belittled and the show uses her as a joke for no real good reason. In this scene, Meg is confronting her abusers. They all think they’re better than her, and she’s right. Turning this scene into a meme isn’t funny.

I have only seen a very small amount of Family Guy episodes in my life. But I often related to Meg because people did think they were better than me, people often did call me fat and ugly, and I very often hated myself.

We shouldn’t joke about ones’ abuse, even if it is fictional, because that can normalize other people’s real abuse. You should not be treated as a joke in your family, and you should not treat others in your family as jokes. This is a bad, bad meme and I would like if it were to stop circulating.
