I keep struggling with this exploration of my Finnegrin Mama OC, but I just...like this section of the sketch too much and get continuously stuck trying to finish it
When you have to give birth below deck while your crew is in the middle of a brawl with another group of pirates and then you have to come up and throw their captain overboard while holding an actual newborn (and then going back to land for a bit)
Hot rod flames are sort of out of place diagetically in TDP and Hermit Crab Guy Finnegrin absolutely knows painting shells is terrible for hermit crabs
Which implies that there are sea snails in Xadia that inherently have hot rod flames. (Which of course has extra layers of humor from multiple directions)

I wish we got an updated version of the map after we unlocked new locations!
Since I focus a lot on Finnegrin these days, I chose this island as a possible location for Scumport. It's close enough to Umber Tor to make the heroes go there make sense and also far enough from the Sea of the Castout to have that whole chase scene + the drama of S5E8.

AU where little kid Corvus got tired of fending for his life living really close to the border so he ends up in Scumport (not really a better place then the border but at least there’s people there who will actually hire him for stuff) and when he’s not doing odd jobs for cash he in the fight rings
Which is how Finnegrin find out about him and decide to recruit him to be part of his pirate crew! And Corvus would’ve been a fool to turn down the offer so he’s now Finnegrin’s second-ish in command and is very loyal to him
Although his loyalty might waver when a certain handsome crown guard guy ends up prisoner on the ship

He’s named after his great-great-great-grandfather, who was a war hero and his middle name is Profundis, his mother thought he was destined for great things so she named him after the two greatest things she could think of before she died giving birth to him
