“It’s not like I’ll die..” He repeated, though in a softer voice. A sickeningly calm voice. It was as if he’d accepted his fate to live forever, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Hesitantly, his arm shifted away from his neck with the blade. His hand shakes slightly before he drops it to the ground between the two of them.

“At least, if I die.. I’d get to be with her.” He mumbled softly. His eyes landed again on King, glazed over with a misty haze.
