“See? Told ya I’d be back.” Dante swaggered confidently onto the canopy, Rebellion resting on his shoulder, as it had a cloth bag tied to it, the bag itself carrying a fairly substantial load of food, books, and the like.

He’d gotten to looking around since his last visit, and all of civilization seemed like it was thrown a like six centuries back from what Dante was used to. Still, it meant that his sword was less out-of-place, which meant less hassle, overall.

Well it’s canon that he can play guitar, and that he can riff pretty hard on it, this is further supported by his ownership of a guitar and amp in his office. But at the same time that COULD be the Devil Arm sounding sick for him.

It’s just as canon that he owns a drum set that he keeps at the office too, and while it’d be such a gag that he’s bad at them, I don’t think so.

So the instruments that my Dante knows how to play (in order of skill):-Drums-Guitar-Bass Guitar-Piano

I think the piano was his baseline thing and that he and Vergil both know how to play them (because they seemed well-off before the demon attack and that just is such a rich kid instrument to be able to play) which informs his ability in other instruments.

Despite being on the run Dante definitely learned these other instruments in his teens, as being rock and roll/in a band was probably a shortsighted attempt to get chicks, which as we know based off of canon doesn’t really work out for him. Sincerely I believe he’s got an innate talent for drums that he does practice and work with, and that when he fights he keeps rhythm when hitting the demons, which lets him keep to combos so uniformly.
