like a month ago i learned that the phrase "hell is a teenage girl" wasn't referring to being a teenage girl is hell, but instead means that dealing with a teenage girl is hell - and they have all of us chanting it..

Something I've noticed is that whenever a man and a woman fight, no one ever steps in. The man could hit her, threaten her, harass her, etc, and no one would do anything. But when a woman starts to win the fight or does something about it, that's when people want to take action. Specifically men. Men say that they're the protectors, but proceed to only protect THEMSELVES or OTHER MEN. And that's if they do protect anyone at all, which most men haven't unless it has something to do with their immediate family. Men are not protectors, and if a man has ever protected someone, man or woman, 99% of the time it is from another man. Again, men are not protectors. And men who do protect others do not deserve praise because of their actions, as stepping in to help someone who is getting hurt is common decency. If you disagree, then, along with praising men, you should also praise the hundreds of women who do the same.

I don't think I'm going to get to go to any Pride events this year. I've mentioned that I want to go to 4 pride events this year, which I have all the dates and info for, but so far, I missed one that I couldn't go to. But I don't think I can go to the other three either because I was just eating dinner with my family, and my dad asked my brother when he starts work, to which he answered the 28th. And a little later, I brought up the big pride parade that was on the 28th, and when told that I can't because of my brother's work, I said: "So I'm not going to any" (in relation to the pride events). And my mom said, "something you have to understand is that pride is not for everyone. we (points at my siblings and dad, even my GAY brother) are all trying to get closer to faith." she said something after that as well, which I can't remember, but she was saying that she couldn't take/participate in it because of her religion. The same religion she still tries to convert me to, even AFTER I told her I wasn't religious. 1. Homosexuality isn't a sin, learn your own damn bible. 2. If your religion requires you to avoid pride parades, a place where you support and love queer and trans people, HUMANS, then maybe you should find a different religion, especially since you have two gay kids. 3. This is so damn important to me, and no one who can do something gets that. Every time I've brought up a pride event, it's been my family who thinks about what it is for THEM. Two straight men at Pride. A Christian at Pride. What about ME? A LESBIAN AT PRIDE. I've been waiting for a whole year. A year to go to Pride events, because I missed them last year. I just want to go to a Pride event, at least.

The absolute AUDACITY you have to have to leave a homophobic comment on a post of me CALLING OUT A TRANSPOBE is something I literally can't fathom. Not only that, but I'm CLEARLY GAY, which I know you knew because you LIKED the post where I said I was a lesbian. AND my blog says I have NO TOLERANCE for a list of things, including homophobia. You even wanted to be my moot/partner for personal growth, but it seems your path to improvement is MUCH longer than mine.

this is my first pride month where im actually looking into and trying to go to pride events! ive found four in my area, one in 2 days (on the 21st), two on the 27th, and the big pride parade on the 28th!! but, since the 21st is also father's day, it was up to my dad if he wanted to go or not (its a pride event for queer people, family, friends, allies, etc.), which he sadly doesn't :( - so so far 1 out of my 4 pride events are a no. im worried about the other ones too, though. the two on the 27th are somewhat back to back, and the 27th is also a friday, which my dad has work on. he works at a job that doesn't have a set leave time, so he probably won't be able to take me, especially since it starts at 11 AM. he'd either have to take the day off or my mom would have to drive me, which i don't think my mom would because there would be three of my four other siblings at home, and they're the type to complain about not getting to do or have something someone else does/is. and im worried for the big pride parade on the 28th because when i said we should go to a pride parade they (my dad and older brother) said no because it's "a lot of people and there's bound for something bad to happen/it won't be peaceful", ugh idk
