ok but the pokemon franchise is rife with signs of late stage capitalism. the games come out wildly unpolished every year and they sell everything from cardboard to cake mix with pictures of pokemon on them.

see that would make sense in 2025 but back in the 3DS era they actually cared about the amount of polish in their games
