Tasks to do:
Study for tomorrow’s Vector quiz.
Study for tomorrow’s French quiz.
Answer French Revolution questions.
Work on Data presentation.
Work on Short Story.
Goal: Top three tasks are priority. Although my Data and Short Story projects are due next week, I’ll be missing several days of school and weekend days due to track and some other events. Therefore, I need to chunk them tonight, even if its just a small chunk.
Big night ahead. I got this.
BRING IT ON
I really don't like where I'm going. I'm underperforming in my activities, I'm not hitting my goals, and it's so ridiculously frustrating. I want to spend my time by sincerely refining my skills, but as each day progresses, my energy and tolerance is just diminishing and I can't sustain my enthusiasm. My grades are above average, but that's clearly not enough. I can play the violin and trumpet, but I'm not good enough to play for a band or ensemble. I can run long and fast, but it won't win me scholarships and still isn't enough to get me to OFSAA. I can't even keep up with my friends with video games anymore. With so many bloody things I need to keep up with, I'm sleeping less and less each night, which results in me not being able to focus on things I need to be focusing on. Yet I have to keep everything buoyed, so I still end up having to force myself through each night. The worst thing, I guess, is that there's no one I can really connect with. I'm surrounded by so many incredible people that are just so skilled and disciplined on the things that they're truly passionate about. I'm close to being on the same level as them, but never close enough to really connect. And I wonder sometimes that if I just didn't attempt so many things at once, if say grades and music didn't matter to me, I probably could have had regular friends and just go out to the mall and movies and Starbucks and just have regular fun. But no, not even that. I read online that being "all-rounded" is great. I used to believe that. But now I think the proper way to describe myself is someone who just "half-asses" everything.

After a wonderful night performing several pieces of vocal music - several of which were jazz arrangements - I can’t stop thinking on how people used to think jazz was a savage and ridiculous type of music. I remember my band teacher even telling us how they used to try and market “jazz-proof” furniture. Silly ducks.
Long live jazz, long live music, long live freedom of expression.

Beautiful day and beautiful night. Will sleep well tonight ~
Schedule: April 26
Time Posted: 11:33PM (April 25)
Tasks to do:
Finish Writer’s Craft descriptive scene assignment. 2:01AM
Calculate theoretical probabilities for Data game project. 6:00AM
File taxes.
Study for Calculus exam.
Goal: I need to complete these tasks in this order. Those assignments will be done by Monday, and I have to force myself to study for Calculus this weekend, because I won’t have time on Monday.
Mm, I suppose this is what I get for taking a midday sleep. Nevertheless, I am awake and alert. I will complete my objectives!
6:22PM: There are some things more important than homework. I’m incredibly glad I stayed to watch The Lemon Bucket Orkestra. Am I behind on homework? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes.
5:07PM (April 27): My leg may or may not be blown from track training. My first track meet is this coming Wednesday, and to make matters worst, I’m a leg in two of my relays. Actually the worst time for this to happen. Not pleased at all. Oh well, gotta push onward.

A better day today.
Seven hours of sleep is 2.3 times more sleep than the average amount of sleep I’ve been getting each night for the past week. I actually feel terrific today. I am totally good to take on this calc test or anything else that gets in my way today.

It’s like the world and everything hates me right now. I’ll take my vengeance by overcoming it all.
4:46PM: Alright, here’s the game plan. After dinner, will take two and a half hour nap after drinking tea. Will study until midnight, then sleep.

7:04PM: Out of a nap. No biggie, still got this in the bag...
9:30PM: TAKE THAT MATH. Man, I’m actually feeling so accomplished today. Now I just have to bank a lot of hours of sleep and I’ll be completely set. This calc test is gonna get DESTROYED by me.

It's not about the cards you're dealt, but how you play the hand.
Randy Pausch, The Last Lecture
Always make the best out of whatever situation you can with whatever you have. Thank you for your lessons Mr. Randy Pausch.
Holding on to anger, resentment, and hurt only gives you tense muscles, a headache and a sore jaw from clenching your teeth. Forgiveness gives you back the laughter and the lightness in your life.
Marianne Williamson
I’ve found out why my friends have been acting strange recently. I swear that I will do my best to ameliorate my bonds and not get angered by their insincerity, whether or not I was at fault.
Friends deserve to be forgiven. Anger brings no joy. Let this post serve as a self-reminder to not give in.

Learn a new coding language.
Study chess openings.
Listen to the same album that I’ve been listening to for the past week.

Study calc.
