communication is so inherently frustrating because you will continuously encounter people in life who seem like they might be capable of understanding nuance and a realistic, materialist mindset about the world we live in - like they will demonstrate nuanced thinking in other circumstances, but then there will be some other issues they just sort of refuse to wrap their heads around no matter how many times and how many different ways you try to explain a concept

and the fact that they refuse to even try is also actually a multi-pronged problem consisting of like...unchecked internal bias, immense self-hatred, and several needs in their life that are going unaddressed and which I alone obviously have no way to meaningfully address...so it's like....I think you'd be in a better head space to understand nuance if you were not also starving and sleep deprived and socially isolated but obviously I can't fix all of that for you and just telling you that directly is most certainly not going to solve the problems. so you're just stuck having these brick wall communications over and over again to no avail
