A lot of things that seem obviously implicit in speech AREN'T obvious to autistic people. So we inherently think it's necessary to specify things that might seem transparent to neurotypical people because usually WE'RE the ones who need those explanations

Please dont forget addicts when youre advocating for people with highly stigmatized mental illnesses. Addiction is a disorder and it deserves just as much visibility, acceptance and support as any other stigmatized mental illness.

ppl without ocd will literally be like ‘yeah i have intrusive thoughts…… like one time i kept thinking about garlic bread when i was trying to focus in class’
