I think… about what I think what I really think what I think about when I know when I don't know, when I am silent when you don't know what I think about what you think you know although you don't know
gay toe spread ^_^
do you want au? i have one. okay, naruto is a monk, an orphan who grew up in a monastery. sasuke, no doubt, is a samurai from a respected clan.
the main thing is not to kill each other during the journey.
I'm so fucking excited. Naruto is my first fandom in my life, Narusasu is my first pairing. And now, after nineteen years, I finally drew art with my favorite boys.
yess, i’m old old woman

Sangwoo is such a fascinating character. He's the perfect example of a person consumed by the sunk cost fallacy. He comes from a poor neighborhood, and is burden with the expectation to be exceptional. But being exceptional by capitalistic standards when you experince generational poverty is nearly impossible. So he cheats his clients out of their money, just a little a first, I imagine. Then he makes some bad investments, so he skims some more money, because if he doesn't get out what he put in, then all the bad that he's done was for nothing. And this logic snowballs until he puts his mom's property up for collateral, is wanted for felony charges, and is contemplating suicide.
That's the same logic that carries him through the games. At the beginning, we see that he's capable of doing for others even when having nothing to gain. We see how he hesitates when betraying his team in the honeycomb game, but by the time he kills Ali, he's all in. Because how could he not be? All the people he's killed, all the harm he's caused. He's ruined so many lives in the name of his own success, and it all means nothing if he stops. That why he snaps at the grieving husband after the marble game, because 'that's not just your wife up there, it's all the players'. That's all the people he has to live with hurting, and the only thing that makes hurting them worth it.
That's why, when given the chance to go home, he kills himself instead. He rather die than face the consequences, and the guilt, and a debt he'll never be able to pay back.
Isn't it ironic that, in the end, Sangwoo's ruthless efficiency extends to himself too. He knows that it's only in his death that he has any chance of saving his mom from the harm he caused her.
