i made a post on my main blog about my thoughts on the new characters in twisted wonderland. i just needed to simplify it, and this was a great exercise to get back into drawing!
so here's my Prince Rielle simplified redesign. not too much has changed:
less gadgets and gizmos
less belts
less embroidery (tho looking at my design now, maybe it wouldn't be so bad to add it back on the sleeves)
i made flounder a pin and sebastian dangling from the dorm broach
shorted the shirt train in the back
lengthened the purple vest
(assume the unchanged aspects to carry over, like the length of hair, or the set of buttons on the left side still present in my design, as well as the unseen hair clips like his canon design.)
the changes arent super major, but i think still just as effective in keeping it recognizable in who he's twisted off of.

i was real busy but i have more free time now, and inspiration struck from a video by @lovesoflauryn where (canon) cookies from Cookie Run Kingdom are judged on whether she'd devour them or not. she then pondered what a Nectarine Cookie would look like, and this is my interpretation!
i very loosely tried to emulate the way the cookies are rendered in that game, because alas im a simple Ovenbreak player and those renders are so so simple lol
you'll have to zoom in on the text to read it, but it should be fine because it's a 1920x1080 300dpi canvas
anyways, hopefully i can get back into the swing of drawing and posting here more often!
i must confess my sins, i really fucking hate the Playful Land event outfits. there's too much going on with a lot of them they look so fucking bad.
i'll admit they look better in their card art, but as their 2D models they look soooo bad, and it just feels like they FORGOT these needed to work on the 2D modes when they greenlit the concept designs. and how can you just forget that part of the presentation of these designs?? after 3 halloween events (tt, ss, gm) of designs that look incredible both as card art and 2D models, but then they drop the fucking ball with these ugly ass looks.
this was meant to just be a sketch but then i got really into it and decided to color it all.
y'all wtf is with this guy's jacket?? i wanted to omit it since it would've covered his cute bows, which are like my absolute favorite trait of his design. noe even makes a note of how vanitas ties things in bows all the time.
i needed to get back into the swing of drawing poses from reference, but the only way i was able to motivate myself was by drawing a character i thought fit the pose. so here's Leona Kingscholar from Disney Twisted Wonderland

guess who FINALLY finished grad school!!!!!! hopefully that means I can draw more art to post here.
i know absolutely nothing about F1 but my dear friend loves it and from what i see her reblogging all the time is this fellow Daniel Ricciardo. hopefully the resemblance is there to recognize him, he has that signature heart shaped mouth when he smiles and smile lines on his cheeks.
in a very specific "they've never dated but they ARE divorced" way. like they would make out but robin would be very mad the entire time (consensual of course)
fortunately for me, when i was younger and watching the Teen Titans cartoon, i didn't know SHIT about comic book lore/current events, so i had NO IDEA who the FUCK jason todd was. so thankfully i have no problem thinking Robin and Red X could be a funny relationship to play with bc i have no pre-conceived notion that X could be anyone from the batfam.
in all honesty i don't really care to find out who the Red X from the show could've been, it's one of those mysteries that i think are better off being just that: a mystery.
(also, i wasn't part of any, like, fandom circle at the time so i didn't even know RobX was like a thing lol)

itās 1am drawing/making this post and this is so dumb im so sorry al;kdsja;lkjdsf (ignore any spelling mistakes, im so tired) sorry for any chicken scratch handwriting.
iāve been in a Batman League mood recently (despite my focus needing to be aimed at finals), however my only real DC exposure was the og teen titans cartoon when i was a kid, and the WFA webtoons recently. despite this, i couldnāt help but come up with this silly little scenario:

basically, itās been like half a year since Robin (Dick) left and founded the Titans when he gets a call from the Batcave likeĀ āhey, we want you to come visit home so you can meet your new younger brotherā and Dick is like, āmy what?ā
so Dick heads over to Gotham and meets Jason Todd and it... doesnāt go great. Dick is a little peeved about being replaced but is trying really hard to get past those unfair feelings and get along with Jason. Jason however is mad about being compared to Dick by the newspapers referring to him asĀ āRobin #2.ā³
Bruce has to go to some Gala and the boys are kinda roped into it (Bruce hoping that forcing them in a room of annoying strangers would get them to resort to talking to each other for company). The boys are staring out the balcony from the building and spot something in the distance that looks like trouble, and for any excuse to get out of those tux and into their hero suits, theyāll take it.
So while the Bro-bins are making stealthy chase, Dick realizes itās none other than Red X, somehow meeting outside of Jump City. Dick is is incredibly annoyed of having to deal with X while also trying to make a good first impression with Jason. X, however, takes this as a chance to annoy Dick while Dick is too pre-occupied about turning him in and wanting his suit back. The method of annoyance is pretending to offer Jason the job opening of joining his thieving career.
after that it would just be shenanigans, but maybe the three of them also fight some crime together (to Xās reluctance), and the Robins start actually getting along and opening up about their initial resentments, thus clearing the air between them and truly seeing each other as brothers.

in terms of the Jason Todd design, i was trying toĀ āTeen Titan-ifyā jasonās Robin design from WFA
since Jasonās only canonical appearance in the original Teen Titans cartoon was this little cameo:
(funny enough, in the episode called X, where Red X as their own self becomes a character haha)
i figured since this AU takes place pretty soon into Dickās TT-era, jason would be much younger than how he looks in that WFA screenshot, so i just tried to make the design more kid-ish. made it more sporty-esque compared to TT!Robinās more acrobat-esque design.
