Jina took a deep breathe in, and a deep breathe out. With shaky hands and a racing heart she opened the door to her tent.

"Hekla, you all ready to go?" She asked peering out of the tent, finding Hekla waiting for her near the pond.

The ancient robot nodded at Jina as she had walked over, "Of course my Jina. Are you sure you're ready to go? I've heard mating rituals are quite stressful-"

"Yep- yep- fine! All good!" Jina said, grabbing her bag (that Hekla had packed) before starting to walk the trail to the beach.

With the heat of the summer, she, for once, was dressed in weather-appropratie clothes. Her bathing suit was a light shade of pink, and Jina wore a crocheted over-shirt for the walk over.

But given the water she was approaching (and the person waiting for her), Jina was not dwelling on the idea of her outfit.

Jina never thought you'd look back at her, truth be told. No matter how captivated she was when she had seen you appear like an angel, she had never expected the human to see herself like she saw them.

Hekla soon enough catches up to Jina, and, naturally, as Jina does, she started to ramble to her galdur friend.

" Hekla, it's not a big deal! Not at all! Just.. a fun beach hangout. With people. Holding hands. Who are dating." Jina mumbled into her free hand, her sandals kicking up dirt.

She had taken this date very seriously. Jina picked a two piece swimsuit that had thought was cute at the start, but had run to Jel to fix some bows on it just on case! You never know, right?

"I just- I just really dont want to mess this up." Jina admitted into her hands, "I really like them a lot... and I want today to be perfect for us. I want us to be able to hold hands without getting awkwardly quiet- or- even just-"

"Jina. My dear. You'll do fine. I'm sure our human friend feels the same." Hekla interrupted, her robotic arm moving to rest on Jina's shoulder.

"I.. that's probably true." Jina replied, "thank you Hekla."

As Hekla nodded in response, Jina stressfully replayed the thoughts she dare not say outloud.

What Jina was most stressed about was getting all flustered upon seeing you in your bathing suit.

She was doing her best on the daily to not say anything rash. She didnt want you getting uncomfortable! She was much rather eat a rock than see you upset. But even just on the daily, you were so adorable. She could just imagine holding your face, running her hands into your scalp and-

"Jina? Jina. We have arrived. I will now leave you two be, but worry not my dear Jina I will not stray to far." Hekla gave a reassuring nod.

"Of course." Jina sighed, waving her galdur buddy away.

As you approached Jina wondered what would be appropriate to say. You were always more romantic, although a bit cheesey.
