i had this epiphany recently that percy and beckendorf where legitimately friends and PERHAPS i was just slow on the uptake but i had always read it as oh this older camper percy knew & is sad about because everyone is sad & it is objectively sad & camp is a close knit group where everyone kind of has relationships with everyone. & war brings people close and percy telling beckendorf “you’ll see her again” is something he could have easily said to any fellow-demigod because you know. he’s percy and he’s sweet. and not as percy losing. a close personal friend. probably because we had not seen beckendorf in very significant capacity besides being a counselor before he died.

okay so i just got my dream job??? a week after applying to it?? and now i’m thinking….maybe this is the good luck post

…..not even six hours later i got an offer of a well paying full time long-term job with free room and board in queens in nyc, allowing me independence and a way to escape an abusive situation and an unhealthy environment
