1. 2 stocking caps always.

2. My edges are more protected when I place tracks in a u shape from the front. Do 2 rows of u for the very front then place the tracks regularly. Having a bunch of tracks that start at the hairline thins it out because of the blobs of glue on the ends. The u shape also helps with how the hair falls.

3. Always get a good trim!

4. Always keep the tracks on the stocking cap until ready for use. It is easier to place them correctly again.

5. The 2014 18” bundles (Brazilian Straight) from Kaye’s Fab Hair are still going strong! And all they ever need is Silicon Mix.

8. Doing the liquid cap one day then laying the tracks the next allows for the liquid cap to dry fully - also helps make less tension.

You really never need a whole bunch of hair bundles. Just buy 3/4 at a time and reuse them. Even the cut bundles that I use for quick weaves last and last and last. So now I need to sell hair.

Powder foundation is amazing. The perfect work face or quick face. I shoulda never stopped. Urban decay stay naked is what I will use until it’s done.

I just took out a quick weave and relaxed my hair. I need to always use the Roux porosity control with a relaxer from now until kingdom come! I also need to keep the relaxer on my head for 12 minutes. I’m not sure how I got 8 minutes in my head previously but I was under processed and it looked bad. I need to add back the protein treatments I used to do and bond builders.

I finally know how to relax and color on the same day. I have to use keracolor mocha color depositing conditioner. Brings the red spots back to dark brown and I noticed when rinsing it out all the color was deposited on my head and the rinse was milky white. Very interesting! I kept it on for 35 minutes and it covered my greys pretty well.

I have to wait 2 shampoos after a relaxer to color grey roots. I also have to wait 2 shampoos at least after coloring to relax my hair or the colored spots get lightened. The keracolor depositing conditioner in mocha helps with this. Never knew. Will also try more glosses. I see Revlon colorstay has a few.

I actually may go back to Revlon colorstay because the wella 3n and 3g with 10 volume developer does not cover 100%. It also oxidizes in the tube because I only use a little at a time so I may just purchase that for overall blending but use the Revlon colorstay in dark brown for grey roots. Revlon colorstay is a liquid and liquid mix so I can just use a little at a time with no issue.
