the sun illuminates and heats up and changes the moon; the way akutagawa allows for atsushi to grow into himself, to see himself, the way akutagawa changes atsushi, brings out the worst in him, brings out the best in him

but despite the sun's power, its never going to be a supernova, its always going to be too small;;; despite akutagawa's strength, he staggers and lingers, he falls back, his flaws pull him back; and of course, through atsushi he gets better, more comfortable in himself/with himself

and akutagawa's death might not be an explosion, might end up being smaller, quieter, but it'll change his surroundings holistically; his death, like the sun, will swallow in those around him---because despite his flaws, despite everything, he pulls in ppl around him, he pulls in atsushi and there is no atsushi without akutagawa
