Fresh out of the oven, this pie crust vest was an absolutely delicious knit that I couldn't wait to get a slice of. This pattern is the Sugar Sweet Woven Vest by Nancy Marchant!
The yarns used for this project are as follows:
Warp Rows: Lopi Lettlopi 9427 Rust
Weft Rows: Berroco Ultra Alpaca 6292 Tiger Eye's Mix
Mohair Sections: Malabrigo Mohair 247 Whales Road
This pattern is worked in pieces, one front and one back, from the bottom up. You begin with a hemmed edge then continue in “woven knitting

Started: (uhhhhhhh welll... first I unwravled a shirt I didn't like (that I made a couple years ago?) and I started unwraveling after I finished the rug, sooooo...) March 28th, 2026
End date: May 23rd (Based on when I took this picture lol)
I moved into my new place on April 11th, so that timeline was a little blurry
Yarn: some cotton yarn I picked up in Denmark (on its second use)
Pattern: my very own Dragon scales!!! I had to tinker a bit to get it to look right, but a cable/lace combo did it. When I did all cables, it turned out to make quite pretty hearts, so I might use that for a different project...
