They try literally everything to keep their followers in the dark. Denying someone access to education because it's "umoral" is fucking unethical and just a control mechanism. They're so desperate to keep a firm grip on what their followers are capable of doing, including thinking on their own.

8. Accepting people for who they are rather than their potential for conversion.

Learning how to dress the way I want to and not just the way the cult wanted me to

Learning about other religions and Christian history

All the free time I gained that used to go to spiritual activities
