She annoyed my brother so much that he called to have her replaced. After lying to my face and telling me for over a year that he wasn’t able to do so.

I’m glad my mom finally has someone she doesn’t have to be afraid to be in the house with. And I feel lighter now even though I had to lose a brother in the process.

I know how and who to trust moving forward and I’ll see my mom soon, once I’m ready to face that demon spawn of hers.

And for some reason everyone around has just given up with her treatment.

“It was an accident”, “elderly people are more sensitive to pain”, listening to my mom scream in agony - as if she’s just a statistic now.

It’s too much to ask to have someone feed her nutritious foods that won’t worsen her diabetes. I offered to help, and my brother took it as a personal attack against his cooking, and instead of accepting my help , he threatened me instead.

Too much to ask to do the minimal amount of physical therapy to get her more mobile.

Too much to ask for someone to take care of her who WONT hurt her.

Too much to ask for someone to turn the stove off and lock the door when they leave.

My brother who has this illusionary thing called power of attorney, who wanted to throw my mom in a nursing home, is doing all that he can to do nothing for her so that he can sell the house and go on about his life.

She’s getting sicker, injured and is surrounded by threats that he won’t address, because he wants the easy way out.

He’d rather get mad at me for trying to improve the situation than he did at the idiot who actually broke his moms leg!

Another cog in the for profit hellcare machine, I gave up on him and his malignant ways, after seeing what he’s capable of I’m better off without him.

I tried to stick it out for my mom but It became too disturbing to watch and witness and I had to get away from him and his tyranny.

But I’ll fight for my mom til the day I die.

Alliance @ 105 court st in Brooklyn shouldn’t be able to operate the way they do. I’m surprised they’re not shut down already. The place only has 1.5 stars and there’s a reason.

The aide does less then the bare minimum, barely cooks or cleans and spends 90% of her time putting a dent in the couch watching tv. As if she gets paid to hurt people and barely do anything else. She leaves the front door unlocked and is completely useless but the agency couldn’t care any less.

They come here for work that requires no skill or standards , and the ones we care about the most end up suffering the most.

I’ll do everything in my power to make sure my mom gets decent treatment and her untrained imbecile of an aide, ROSE gets what she deserves because I know damn well my mom deserves a Billion times better.
