I dont wanna be mean, but people's wonderman season 2 theories or requests are super dumb. “Oh we need to see Doorman again and bring in the other east coast avengers, oh we need to see his brother become Grim reaper, oh Myphisto should be involved” like shut the actual fuck up and come back down to reality. Like does it annoy me when the mcu brings in characters and doesn't have them suit up or doesn't have a whole team assembled, yes obviously, but they almost always do it for the sake of the narrative they have in mind. Eric was meant to be a grounded antagonist, judging Simon's choices, not be a literal supervillain. Doorman was meant to both explain why Simon can't show off his powers, but also be a standalone episode about how the Hollywood system chews up and spits out up and coming black actors. Wonderman can deal with crazy threats and situations in the movies or crossovers, but the main show itself was pretty grounded and centered on the acting journey and Simon and Trevor's relationship. Season 2 will probably deal with damage control trying to manipulate Simon or find others like him, Simon having to hide Trevor to keep his acting career afloat, things like that seem much more plausible.

Its both notable and really funny how Hollywood whether in success or failure will seemingly always learn the complete wrong lesson. We've seen them make a crap load of boring straight white hocky shows after heated rivalry was popular, seeming to think the sport was why people watched that show, greenlighting a million awful sounding toy movies after the success of barbie, or not wanting to make superhero movies with black women after catwoman, when it was catwoman its one of the worst films of all time, just dont make superhero movies staring black women that suck and people will show up.

Im really fucking annoyed with how marvel handles Deadpools pansexuailty, that is to say THEY DON'T. Deadpool in mainline canon has only had relationships with cis women and one non binary person, which he broke up with off panel cause the writers got cold feet. His attraction to men is treated exclusively as jokes, never taken seriously or more in depth. The most we've ever gotten was one panel in an alternate universe future where he hooks up with what's implied to be Iceman. But a couple things on that 1) it wasnt mainline canon so it doesn't matter 2) even in that story its never brought up again 3) the guy is kept in shadow and we don't even see them fully kiss or anything 4) its a shit idea iceman and Deadpool have nothing in common and would suck as a couple, its like the writers just picked the first gay guy character they could think of. Point being, it's kinda weird Marvel writers have an easier time having Deadpool seriously being in relationship with the living embodiment of death, than having him seriously be in love with a man.

I hate when people say "oh james Gunn said the flash and supergirl movies where great, we can't trust him and he's a terrible writer" cause like 1) even if he does like them that doesn't mean he himself is a bad writer, and 2) what exactly do you want him to do? Come out the gate hating on movies the studio he works for is making? Stephen King has terrible tastes in movies , should we just never trust that he can write good books now?

So thing im kinda bothered by that I've seen noone else talk about, why in six on the rare occasions that k howard is played by a black woman is her hair always straight? Seriously, ever since Tsemaye played her with braids every other black actress to play howard has had straight hair. Its even funnier when its an alt or swing and every other wig they use is textured hair, but once they go on for howard, that shits gotta be straight as taylor swift. Anyone else notice this and what kinds hair types would you wanna see future actresses wear?
