Not much progress today. No big deal! It was just a lot of grading, so we’ll work to catch up later!

For a while I believed that I would have to master this first, and I’ve frustrated myself trying to find the perfect equations over and over through derivation; however, I just made the most progress on my project in months, and I did so by taking the math and breaking it over my knee. Twisting and tossing variables all over the place so long as the units line up is shockingly effective in this line of work, and I’ve found a new avenue to solving this within only a few days of obliterating the math. I’ll have to refine and derive later, but I’d forgotten that the first step is just to play around, and that means leaving the reverence behind.

Well, this was meant to be daily, but so far we’re not fulfilling our commitment. Nevertheless, we carry on. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Regarding research, I’ve run into quite the issue. My original proposed fix for the error in our code doesn’t work at all. So, I’ve been testing out a few new ideas for reweighting a few variables here and there. Now I just need to put them together in a nice presentation, but I’m struggling with a bit of exhaustion that’s causing trouble at the moment. I wish I knew a way to be a little more efficient, but it’s hard. Very hard. I’ll try to push through regardless, however.

I think I’ll keep these mostly focused on the research itself, but I’ve also got quite a bit of homework and teaching to do this week, so I’ll be sure to make time to work on all that. With all that said, I bid you all adieu until next time.
