I got my Lobo Jacket signed last Tuesday when Jason Momoa turned up at the place my partner works. He was in my hometown promoting his drink and I couldn't miss the opportunity. There's a video too, but I'm far too shy to show my face.

I've been reading Lobo comics since my early teens and I've been saying Jason Momoa should play him since I saw him in Conan. Rarely do fan casting dreams come true, but this was the fucking icing on the cake for me 🥲

Watching some leaked gameplay footage of the new wolverine game, a line from Logan while exploring somewhere gave me the most intense head canon I've had in AGES.

So hear me out. Even in times of "friendship" (and I use that term super lightly) between Logan and Victor, I feel like Creed wouldn't be able to stop messing with Logan.

I feel like he'd be so SUPER petty, even if him and Logan are working for team X together and working well.

Something as simple and annoying as going over something Logan had done and messing with it. Maybe Vic would take incredible pleasure in recording over something Logan had recorded, just to fuck with him. But he keeps doing it. A couple times at first. But then every time Logan goes to play back a tape, he finds that Vic's recorded something stupid like the news or the weather report over whatever Logan wanted to watch or listen to.

Maybe he does something as irritating as moving Logan's stuff. Hiding the beer, putting his cigars on a high shelf. Throwing his combat boots out the window into the snow. Logan will find them eventually. But it's going to cause him inconvenience to do so and it's going to annoy him.

Damn, I love petty bitch Sabretooth and the idea of him still trying to get under Wolverine's skin when they're working/living together just tickles me.

I'm not mad. I could have been. I've seen people getting antsy saying he looks like Michael Bay's Shredder. I get it. But my guys, gals and fabulous others, let me tell you. I'm fucking excited. Would have liked a more open kabuto design, but I'm fucking FOR this. Oh what a glorious day.

I HAVE to say it. I hate the way the dead don't talk tries to give Vic a tragic loss in the same way the first X men tried to. There's something about both comics that seems... Ick. He's not wolverine. Logan's lived a tragic life of torment and loss. It's what makes Logan a stronger character. But when applied to Sabretooth, whose meant to be completely wild and psychopathic it completely turns me off. Mary Shelley's overdrive, there was something more personal about it, about Vic finding just a normal person who just accepted him.

The first X men and now the dead don't talk seem...forced? I'm just not feeling it. I'll keep getting the comics purely for the cover art but I doubt I'll really accept it as canon.

i mean, there was a bit of it in a flashback to old man logans timeline-

but that was after he’d gone COMPLETELY feral

and there was a moment in dead man logan where he(the resurrected version of old man logans sabes, but with different writers so the continuity is obv off) tried it out for a sec while in a town of cannibals-

I totally believe he'd eat people. Creed's got no issue with being an animal. It's implied in a few different issues (sorry, too tired to find them). But I'm sure my dude gets the munchies for Cheetos and people.

I brought midnight suns on sale. I'd seen some bits about it, but I honestly didn't realise how much I'd enjoy it. BY FAR my favourite representation of Sabretooth in ages for me. Logan even highlights just how obsessive Creed is about him in a friendship dialogue (he says Sabes ate his mail man, which had me cackling ).

I'll genuinely play this again when I've finished it, if only to listen to Peter Lurie's perfect Sabretooth voice (I could sleep to it. Seriously).

I happened to stumble across Blade Trinity again while I was watching TV recently and remembered how I spent years trying to convince people that Triple H should have been Sabretooth. That fight scene with Ryan Reynolds was basically Deadpool Vs Sabretooth *chefs kiss*.
