Grace gets curious about other life in the 40 Eridani system or if it's just the Eridians. Rocky is also curious, so they get to gether and make what is basically a HAM radio that go at least 4 light years out.

For a while, Grace hears nothing. So, thats that. However, being bored one day he tries it—

and it works. He hears a voice, it's far, it's hard to hear, but it WORKS.

The voice and Grace are very...tentative at first. Unsure how to continue. This guy is gruff and doesn't sound all that friendly. However, after a moment or two, the guy softens just a little bit with one question. "You got a name?" And that allows the two to start slowly talking and learning about one another. Grace learns the man is a convict, that his name is Simon. Simon in turn learns about Grace and the Hail Mary and Rocky. Simon tells him about Fillament, but then tells Grace that he was fourteen when it all happened. Grace tells him its not his fault. That he was a teenager forced in a horrible situation. Simon nearly cries. At this point Grace gets Rocky and Adrian, but the feed cut out for a while. Grace is explaining what's happening, and how Simon may need help.
