I have an idea for a Project Hail Mary and Iron Lung Crossover and I'd like to hear your guys thoughts o it. I was told by two of my friends that a story like this doesn't seem to have been thought of yet. Basically, in this crossover, it starts on Erid. Grace starts having dreams. Dreams that he chalks up to just being either stress related or just wacky dreams. But the dreams all have one thing in common. An Ocean of Blood. The Blood that calls to Grace. Every night, in his dreams he hears a voice calling to him. "Ryland....Ryland Grace, come here..." and in his dreams he follows that voice. But, things start to take a turn, he starts to sleep walk. Something that has Rocky and the others concerned. Once again, Grace chalks it up to just stress. It has to be. Right? The dreams become more vivid. More intense. The blood ocean starts to smell. He can almost taste the copper in his mouth every time he sees it. It looks thick and hot to the touch. Then, one day, it reaches the tipping point. Rocky, on his daily visits to Grace in the Biome, comes to see the house is a wreck, Grace isn't anywhere to be seen, and one of the doors are wide open. He rushes outside and looks frantically for Grace. He finds Grace face down in the water. Thankfully, it wasn't too late and Rocky (With the help of Armando) bring Grace back, reviving him. Grace is now strapped to a table, Rocky wanting to help his friend, but also not trusting him not to hurt himself at this point. Yet, after some back and forth it's decided: They have to figure out just what this Blood Ocean is before it tries to take him again.
