Anyway I know that it's rich coming from me because I'm the OG doomposter, but can we please stop burying Jannik as soon as he loses a set / doesn't show his usual level in the beginning of a match ? Some of you are acting as if he's lost that final already — I'm not saying he's going to win because I don't have a cristal ball nor can I read coffee stains, but it would be nice not to act as if he's bound to lose. Sure his level is not there yet but that doesn't mean he can't progressively power up nor does it mean that his opponent's level can't drop. And even if he lost, it's not because it's Zverev that he was always going to win; sure they have a positive h2h in his favour but this is tennis and it's a BoF, anything can happen, but that doesn't mean that Jannik was unfocused or didn't want it or whatever I've been reading. Genuinely, let's all have some faith <3
