Hello everyone! Never thought Iâd do one of these, but here we are~ My older cat; Stormy recently got very sick. She has something called Hyperthyroidism and is allergic to all treatments except one. That one happens to be 1,600 dollars. My dad just lost his job and we donât have that kind of money laying around. Stormy is a therapy cat of sorts to my mom and just the thought of losing Stormy sends my mom spiraling. Itâs so hard to see my cat deteriorating and my mother grow so worried. Furthermore, my little sisters have known Stormy their entire lives. I know they will be utterly crushed if anything ever happens to her. Then thereâs me. Stormy has been a constant in my life since I was six years old. Iâve moved with her, became an older sister with her, held her for comfort after my grandmother died and held her once more when my grandfather was diagnosed with dementia. This year has been incredibly hard for everyone in my family and Iâm not sure we can handle losing our beloved cat. If you can donate anything it would so greatly appreciated.
