Both due to Covid (I’m one of the sole caretakers of my elderly granfather and can’t risk getting sick) and my young age (I’m a minor and thus under my parents’ roof and not allowed to go to protests and the like), I feel utterly helpless and as though I’m unable to do anything worthwhile to help. I can’t imagine what people of color are going through and I want nothing more then to be by their side to help. Yet I can’t leave this house. At this point, he really should expect nothing more from these things. Why had they been acting so strange in the first place?? Well, it didn't matter right now. What mattered is that EVERYTHING HURT. He had gone through the ring, and unfortunately it spawned a portal now only somewhere unfamiliar, but not on the ground. He landed hard onto the ground...and right now he just laid there, groaning softly as he slowly regained consciousness...How long was I out...??

Yuki’s eyes fly open in surprise. The creature could speak! Her intrigue heightened and she took a small step back so as to not further frighten the creature. Her curious emerald eyes flew across the small being’s body and her brows furrowed. It was most certainly injured.

“Hey, I’m not going to hurt you.”

Her voice was reassuring, a soft smile crossing her lips as she knelt down once more before the creature. “You’re injured. I can help you.” She offered, reaching her hand out towards the small being with that same encouraging smile of hers.

Curious. Curious indeed. Yuki hadn’t seen a creature such as this one before, and she had seen quite the variety of strange beings in her short lifetime. She stared down at the peculiar blue creature, frowning. It seemed out of place in the lush green forests of Gridania, it’s deep blue a sharp contrast in the verdant scenery around them.

Was it some sort of carbuncle perhaps? Too bad Alphinaud was busy attending to matters in Limsa-he might be able to recognize the creature. But alas, he was busy and she couldn’t simply leave this creature here on it’s lonesome. It looked as though it had fallen from a great height. Poor thing was probably injured.

Then it began to stir and she took a quick step backwards wearily. She’d dealt with enough primals and enemies to know better then to judge a being’s threat level based on size alone. This could be a potentially dangerous creature that could possibly attack her as soon as it regained consciousness. She couldn’t risk it.

It let out a small sound of pain as it slowly sat up and her frown deepened. She was an empathic person at heart and she couldn’t stand seeing the little guy in pain. “Hey there, little one,” She murmured quietly, kneeling down and extending her hand towards the blue, furry creature. “I wonder what you are...” She pondered aloud. She hoped it wasn’t some sort of threat. It was awfully cute and she’d hate to have to slay it.
