Evershade Falls AU Info Updated

its basically Gravity Falls but in the Mario universe. here are the character roles and info so far:
Stanley: Mario Fazio Mario (he runs a business probably some sort of tourist trap or something idk alongside his cousin Wario as long as he gets paid in return, for the first year. mostly because Mario was broke and couldn't afford to pay the mortgages to Luigi's house and land after Luigi disappeared. that's a bit of a thing I'm still working on.)
(Mario and Luigi are 45 years old here btw.)
Mario for the most part is like how he is in the games, but a bit morally questionable at times. a former hero that had ran away from his old life, wanting to start anew and get Luigi back.
Mario still did save Peach a good hundred something times, but he got sick of it after a long while, (I’d say around 10 years) cause it just didn’t give him the feeling of accomplishment it once did, etc. While yes he still is a hero, he got tired of it and wanted to do other things. and when Luigi sent the letter to him about meeting him again after a long time, he left the mushroom kingdom entirely and never came back. (Mario did have a crush on peach and she had a crush on him, but because of the constant kidnapping and all, they barley got to know each other in a deeper sense and also he was tired of having to be the hero alone.) again things might change.

Stanford: Luigi Dante Mario (Luigi has a deformity just like ford but in this case its his ears, which is based on Stahl's ear but a bit different. his hearing is better than an average person's and can hear things most people cant hear. also his ears emote so that's a little something.)
Luigi is a paranormal researcher and ghost hunter, due to his surprising connections to the paranormal despite being a very logic based person.
Luigi in this AU is morally grey, not as kind and forgiving as he is in most games, more like the RPGs mainly OG Paper Mario trilogy, with a mix of other games, and media. he's more balanced out is the best way i would describe it.
Luigi and Egadd had meet at community college, and Egadd took Luigi in as his student/apprentice and both did paranormal research. also yes they both did meet King Boo in this AU, pretty similar events to the first and 2nd Luigi's Mansion games happen, but Mario and Luigi have tension due to the fall out, and Luigi didn't forgive him yet.

Dipper: Alda and Mabel: Rico
Ages: 11
The kids were born a few months after Luigi disappeared. so they never knew him. Both have some genetic oddities like Rico has heterochromia in his hair, orange and brownish hair. Alda's purple eyes are from lack of melanin in the eyes or something else.
Alda Gladiolus Mario Sarasa: Youngest Princess of Sarasaland. very curious about the world around her, Honest to a fault, has an out of box thinking, she's a lot like her father. (both Alda and Rico still are WIP in terms of Personalities might change)
Rico Lupin Mario Sarasa: Prince of Sarasaland. an animal lover who’s very creative and has a short temper, hyperactive and full of energy, he's a lot like his mother and uncle.
There's also Ivy Lily Sarasa Mario the eldest daughter of Luigi and Daisy, but was left in Sarasaland due to failing grades. Age 16

Soos: Petal Mario or Pepe, or Gonzales Jr. He's the same Kid Yoshi Partner from TTYD, he's both Wendy and Soos in this AU, but mainly the Soos.(based on what i named him in my lets play, mostly the same as in TTYD)

Wendy: Waluigi
Wario's younger brother and is is Mario and Luigi's younger cousin. he's the youngest of the group. he's 28 years old so a 17 year age gap between him and Mario and Luigi. Waluigi is younger than Wario by 8 years. (all based on the game debut dates)
Waluigi is a part time worker for Mario's business and is insufferable to work with. the only reason Mario hasn't fired him yet is because he doesn't have many employees anyway, and Wario would probably kill him if he did fire him (because Waluigi is unemployed, and had nothing to do). while he's not evil, he's more like chaotic neutral. he's a bad influence on the twins, but he has his moments where he helps the twins out in their little adventures.

Pacifica: Eda
Age: 11
Eda is from a fairly wealthy family, who are distantly related to the Beanbean Royal Family. also fun fact about Eda, she's named after the Edamame soybean dish.

Waddles: Maragherita. a calico stray cat found by Rico and became a part of the family.
Polterpup (named Benito) Luigi's pet polterpup same one from LM Dark Moon and 3. who followed him through the portal and was there all that time. a good boyo.
Pauline: a childhood best friend of Mario and Luigi, she only appears in flashbacks and post ESF reunion with the bros. overall she like how she is in the games.
Daisy Sarasa: Empress of Sarasaland, her and Luigi meet at a science convention in Sarasaland. by accidentally running into each other and the rest is history.
Peach Toadstool: Queen of the Mushroom Kingdom, pretty much the same as the games overall.

The reason for the name Evershade Falls is because the au mostly takes place in Evershade Valley from Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, and Luigi's Mario's House is in Boo Woods which is near Evershade Valley in this au. and there's a small town in Evershade valley that is original to this au.
How Mario and Luigi fell out is something I'm trying figure out right now. but what i do know is that, it was a few factors that caused them to fall out, such as: Luigi feeling like he cant be his own person (Mario feels similar but more so in Luigi) some other things but I'm still trying to see what works. Luigi in particular being someone who holds grudges for a long time also plays into why it took so long for them to get close again.
Daisy had sent Rico and Alda to there Zio Mario's house in Boo Woods for the summer so they could spend some time outside of Sarasaland, and just be regular kids for the summer.
