The whole melbourne mace thing was so fucking funny because they introduced in december to like spice up the tournament a bit i guess but the nature of the home and away game system meant that the renegades held it for like a couple of weeks before having to hand it back over. And now the stars hold it forever ig? Shambles. The best bit about it though was that the players did not give a FUCK and treated it like a joke. And this is why the big bash is the greatest sporting tournament in the world
