I won't say that Reptiles, Birds and Fish people are off the table but for now I'd rather stick to Mammalians.

So for Beast-Kin as a grouping I wanna seperate them into different camps, not so much by the book of (Biology) taxonomy classification but more by a group mentality. Like which groups of Beast-Kin would come together and view themsleves as a collective.

The Hooved-Kin would be a good Example, tecnnically speaking they shouldn't view all memebers as fellows if they were more focused on themsleves by the book of stictly following Biology. Some have Antlers others horns and yet others none at all.

Equestrian feet are all along different from the others, and yet because their footings are similar enough, habits aren't outright contradictory to each other and in fact benefictial to be together they include each other and then there is the fact that while they are somewhat different the fact of the matter is compared to those with much more human feet or claws feet lacking horns or clawed hands their differences are less a issue hence they they grouped together to establish themselves as a sorta clan, alliences with the Beastkin Species the Hooved-Kin.

Now as for the Other groups I need some help, for instance for now the other large collectives I have have the Felidae-Kin (Cat both small and big BeastKin) Domesticated Cat, Cheetah, Leopards, Jaguars, Cougars, Tigers, Lions and Sabertooths Canis-Kin (Dogs/ Wolves Beastkin) Domesticed Dogs, Foxes. Priah Dogs, Jackels, Coyotes, Wolves and finally Dire wolves I would actually like to combine the Feliformia-Kin (Cat-Line) and Caniformia groups as well into a single group since both are distinctly different from Cat and Dogs collective and have similaries between the two branches even if their mainly superfictial due to convergent evolution this group would include Weasals, Ferrets, Badgers, Otters, Racoons, Skunks, Moongoose, Hyena, Honey Badgers and Woverines.

Ursai-Kin basically Bears if it were following strictly to classification they would be in the former however Bears as a species stand out as incredibly strong hence I would see them making their own collective. Panda, Black Bears, Asian Black Bears, Grizzilies and Polar Bears

Gilres-Kin would be more of a collective of what some would coinsider running prey filled with Rabbits and Rodents the main idea being that this group of Beast-Kin would be a collective more relying on their numbers rather then racial power as indivudals then the others. Rabbits, Hares, Mice, Hamsters, Gerbils, Guinea Pigs, Squirrel, Beavers, Capybara, Opossums, Tasmanian Devil and finally Jackalopes (Which will exsist in this since this is less natural and more dictacted by the trees)

Finally the last group would be Primates-Kin which would include Lemurs, Monkeys, Baboons, Mandrill, Chimpanzee and Gorillas.

Keep in mind these are all rough ideas espcially the names as frankly each group I want a less by the book grouping name that sorta gives you a idea of it's memebers like how the Hooved-Kin does.

Finally for Beast-Kin there is another defining naming that they also use to identify certain groups even within the different collectives. These are more role oriented and based on the size class and how beastly they appear compared to others of the group.

I'll used the Hooved-Kin as the Exmaples. Syth = These would be smaller Beast-Kin of a group that is smaller then Dwarves more akin to Goblin, Smaller/ Lesser Imps or Gnome sized, as a group they aren't considered fighters in any situation, at least not physical ones. What they tend to have is insane magic (Psychic Potential) and are considered the most loved by the Sacred Trees as a grouping as they can communicate best with them, think of these groups as natural Druids. Within the Hooved-Kin only the Barometz (Plant-Sheep-Kin) fall in this catagory.

Kobald = Kobold tend to be considered the next smallest grouping, the origin of the name comes from Awakened (People from the modern era) encountering smaller Beast-kin (Mainly of Dog Variety) and labeling them such. Of the classes Kobald are indentifed as smaller then Humans but around the size of Halflings, Dwarves and Greater Imps. Kobolds tend to make up for the smaller size by specialazation of their race and being able to make children more frequently and grow larger quicker. (Not Drakin have a subspecies of similar size but refer to them as Kobolts instead) It should be noted that as a catagory most species who would be considered Kobolds would prefer to not be or outright hate being called Kobolds and would rather focus on their species name. Among the Hooved-Kin Pan, Saytrs and Faun would fall under this catagory (Ironically Neos canon height would be considered the taller side of Kobalds)

Anthro = Anthros could be considered less as a size grouping and more determined by how much blood is in a Beast-Kin, think of Anthros as memebers who have more Dwarve, Halfling, Amazon, Orc or Human Blood in them. These races dilute the influence of Beast-Kin and make them appear more human. (The Reason this doesn't work with Elves, Drakin and Goblins is because those species only produce their own from their women and the males children would lead to mostly the mothers race Except Goblins where the result would be a Goblin.) Anthros appear more human in general perhaps somewhat stouter or with greyish, brown or Green skin depending on the non-Beast-Kin member. They might have only a single trait or several from the Beast-Kin blood but in general Anthros are around human sized however it should be noted Anthros can easily breed with other Beastkin and the resulting child would almost always result in the partner Beast-Kins apperance rather then their own almost as if their stronger Beast-Kin blood dominates the former. Technically Anthros can exsist of any of the Hooved-Kin as this particular groups is more based on crossbreeding with more humanish partners.

Therians = Therian would be considered the class of Beast-kin that are the size of Human, but still have a notably stronger beast like apperance then Anthros, usually have at least furred limbs and several more animaliustic like traits that make them quite notably different then humans or elves Elves and Orcs They are noted to have similar physical advantages to said races depending on they type of Beast-kin they are of said group as some are more nimble like elves others are more phsyically inclined like Orcs and yet others fall more into human range which could be considered the in-between of the the former two. Beastkin of this group tend to still have quite notably strong senses compared to none-Beast-kin to a degree where the advantage is still quite insermountable. Of the Hooved-Kin the Kernous (The Elk Hooved-Kin) and The Yol/ Yule/ Jól (The Reindeer Hooved-Kin) would fall in this catagory.

Beastials (The Apex) = Considered the most imposing and dominate groups within the Beast-Kin Beastials also refer to themselves as Apex or 'The Apex' as a grouping Size isn't nesscarily what they use as a strict measure for this group but it does usually factor. Beastlials tends to be larger Beast-Kin and a species that could be considered in the catagory or Amazons, to Trolls and even Giants, High Elves and larger Drakin. They tend to be rare on a indivdual level compared to the former catagories and slow to grow as well but are noted for the immense strength. In general they tend to be the stronger races of the races of Beastkin and it's not uncommon for them to be feared. Of the Hooved-Kin Minotaurs, Equestrians and Tarvas (The Moose Hooved-Kin) would be grouped as Beastials.

And there is my current thought on Beast-Kin as a group, but also I would like to add a little more to them as well and that is that Orks were once considered Beastkin, speciifcally Pig/ Boar Beast-Kin but integrated with the Savage races (Goblins, Troll) and this resulted in them branching evolving into a race that could no longer be considered Beastkin as they eventually turned into the common accestors of Orks, Orcs and Oni.
