i got a couple pics of an ant drinking some water on our sink and some wasps drinking from the hummingbird feeder (and bullying each other over specific flowers, it was kinda fun to watch!)
i wanted to zoom my camera in more but then they got too blurry 😭
theres also a few lavender bushes that have a bunch of honeybees buzzing around, but i havent gotten the chance to photograph them yet
Sounds like those wasps are having a fun time!

Like an oil slick, this wasp changes colors at every shift of the light. The sexual dimorphism of this wasp is even color based: males are typically more of a deep blue or green while the females have a red base that shifts from gold and green to even flashes of purple. The rainbow of iridescence varies with each individual and some will even have spots of colors where they're lighter, darker, or less vibrant.

Spirit Animal is racist.
Patronus was invented by a transphobe.
I think it’s time we all suck it up and say what we mean: fursona.
I know this is a jokey post (rip OPs notes) but a fursona is typically an animal REPRESENTATION of YOURSELF, not an external animal that is strongly meaningful to you and your life/journey.
I've seen daemon and familiar proposed, but to keep in line with the cursedness of the original post, may I suggest: spiritual tamagotchi
do you have any idea how refreshing it is to see a correction/suggestion to this post that actually understands the assignment
reminders i need to like, tattoo on my brain:
1. if you feel judged and hurt by others, try sleeping
2. if you feel judgmental and resentful of others, try eating (the classics)
3. if you feel uncomfortable, try showering
4. if you feel directionless and afraid, go sit outside for a bit and maybe then you'll calm down. maybe even a walk if youre feelin crazy
5. take it easy, but by god, take it
oh and how could i forget. final boss. take your fucking medication
Here’s one lobster that you might not want with a side of butter: the lobster moth (Stauropus fagi)! Named for its lobster-like larval form, this wide-ranging insect might be spotted in parts of Europe or Asia. It lives in woodland and deciduous forest habitats, where it munches on the leaves of various plants. While it resembles a crustacean, it can also mimic ants as a way to deter potential predators.

Wasps and birds typically do not get along. There are many types of birds that specialize in eating wasps, and there's even a few wasps that have been known to eat small young birds too. And yet, there are rare cases where wasps and birds coexist.
Sociable weaver birds (Philetairus socius) are known for making massive multifamily nests, and sometimes they specifically choose to be neighbors with the nests of wasps such as B. lateritia. It's believed the small birds do this because less predators are willing to mess with the stinging wasps around. It's also been theorized that the wasps' nest building instincts also help maintain the birds' nests. For the wasps, they also benefit from the protection of being a part of a larger structure. The flies that are attracted to the birds' waste are also an easy food source for the wasps' young.
