surprise? after 4 years I’ve decided to come back and remake my blog. I definitely needed a clean slate though because this one is just... a hot mess.

a lot has changed with me, my writing, my portrayal, etc. but that’s to be expected. I contemplated whether I wanted to even make this announcement because this blog makes me cringe at how bad my writing used to be lol. but despite that, I had a lot of fun and made some really good memories.

Indefinite Hiatus

I feel like it’s about time to make this an official announcement. I’m in fact not coming back but instead will be leaving tumblr indefinitely. Many factors have lead me to this decision but ultimately I’m just getting a bit bored of the tumblr platform. This is to be expected of course though due to my short attention span and eventually I will be back. I just don’t know when.

I still love this account and Esdeath dearly though so when I do mean it when I say I have plans to return. But until then all threads can be considered dropped. Relationships though will not be erased unless you want it to be, which we can discuss upon my return. If you want to unfollow me till then, I’m fine with that! I understand.

I’m not going to leave my skype here since I’m like never on it anymore but I will still receive notifications from inbox messages so if you need to reach me, that will be where.

but then again accelerator can throw back any physical attack from esdeath, also fun fact, if she really where to freeze time, she wouldnt be able too see since photons stop moving as well then.

This is what I mean when I say you have to think about this in more relative terms. What I was referring to was comparing them would mean either sticking him in her universe or her in his - and so neither of their powers would be the same. Because you have to take into account that the Akame Ga Kill universe only has certain powers.

For example it lacks psychological, mental, telepathy w.e it’s called powers. I don’t know if Esdeath would have any defense against such a thing. But if she was to have grown up in a universe that had all of that shit I’m sure she would have found a way to counter it by now.

So if we compare them directly obviously it wouldn’t work out too well but if she existed in his universe, she would definitely be one of the strongest if not the strongest and thus I believe she would be able to find a way around his attacks.

I have no idea who that is to be honest. So I can’t say?? But when dealing with a character like Esdeath I’ve always found it quite difficult to judge whether she is STRONGER than other characters because you can’t just compare people from different worlds so easily? Different worlds, different powers, different… limits. So I usually judge on more of a … relative scale.

Esdeath’s basically the strongest in the series, in my opinion, not just because of her power but because of how good she is under pressure. She has no fears, no attachments, she lives basically for herself (even if she fights for the empire, it’s more for a selfish reason really). Thus, she has no hesitations in battle. Everyone else has so many more things to worry about while Esdeath’s just enjoying herself.

She’s a very logical and rational fighter not to mention naturally gifted and so it’s very difficult to defeat her simply because there’s no way to get under her skin. She has no vulnerabilities, no weaknesses. She’s incredibly strong both physically and mentally (easily conquering the Demon’s Extract) and to a degree she’s not very human. So if we were to put her in any universe, she’d be nearly unstoppable.

In Akame Ga Kill though, you have to be careful because there’s a slight main character syndrome going on and there are moments when she’s made more weak or useless than she should be in order to fit a story line. Now AGK doesn’t do this much compared to other mangas but still, it happens. And that’s expected because she’s not the main character, she’s not really what will carry the story forward.

(A great example of this was Mine and Budo’s fight. The outcome was completely ridiculous and just complete bullshit really. But ya know, gotta carry the story forward).

So after this long worded reply, I’m just going to say yes to your question because frankly Esdeath is unbreakable and OP due to the simple fact that she has no weakness. And that does make her somewhat of a static character but eh. That’s how they made her.

I rp her as more of a dynamic person because it’d be boring otherwise. It’s not that she can’t change, it’s just difficult to find someone that can change her. Because in order to change her in some manner they will have to over power her, and to over power her whom dominates all is… incredibly unlikely. So ya know… I make try.
