thinking about when i mentioned tom and jerry by title alone to my 65 year old father and his only response was to laugh REALLY hard and say "him and that fucking mouse.." while staring into the distance. and then the conversation was over

there is always a fucking devil on my shoulder saying "you could probably make a really good discord server. like REALLY good. and you'd have rules of engagement so specific that nobody would get manipulated. and everyone would probably roleplay or play minecraft with you. and, hell, you could make it part of that patreon you're gonna drop." and every time i have to be like "no.... NO! THIS ISN'T MY HEART!" because the last thing i fucking need is to Moderate a Community when i can't even moderate the discussions between my roommates and the nine women in our basement who are starting to think it's not actually post-apocalyptic outside and they can just leave. it just feels really rude to talk over them and their experiences. i'm not a misogynist i just have a snuff game show to run
