“Grandmamare, what if I am the one saying the mean things.”

Wikstrom ponders this question for a moment. Why did he specialise in steel? “Hmm.. Ah. Tradition. Traditionally the House was known in the past for its ironworks and steel mill, and before that for military strength. As such one came into adulthood surrounded by steel. Every member of the family bonds with a hondege by ten, though I started much younger than my cousins at four years of age.”

“Oh, there is sound? My apologies.”

“That’s a nice island. Hmm..” He watches dutifully and tries to save his confusion for after the video. “I see. This is Krabby Rave.”

"I know....but I can feel nothing toward him but anger." Karen sighed curling her legs up to her chest. With a sigh she sort of looked away. She knew he was right since at the end of the day all she was doing was hurting herself. Still she felt her eyes narrow knowing he didn't even feel bad, Pryce still walked with no remorse for his actions. He was only sorry he was found out.

She hadn't realized it, but her hand had started to grip tighter on the ground under her. Ground being relative as she was perched just outside her window on the roof. It was her usual safe place for thinking, and when Wikstrom brought this up she had asked if he minded she go there. He could sit inside she just needed to see the expansive land around her to feel a bit more free of her own thoughts.

"I don't know how Bruno does it! HE just....he just isn't bothered by Rocket taking away parts of his mind, I can't even function around Pryce I just want to have a panic attack every time I see him."

"I do mean it dork, who else is going to teach my proper etiquette, and how to take my anger out on pounding steel, or just teach me how to deal with all these emotions? I like hearing your way of looking at things as much as I do the rest of my support system."

She explained wanting to make sure his input was below no one. Sure she had good support in other places, but it could never hurt to have more than one. Especially one who knew how to cling to honor.

“What is Krabby Rave?”

“You’ve never heard of Krabby Rave?!” He immediately takes out his pokegear, switching to the video app and pulling it up.

From the window there was a small chirp of the umbreon as he found the two of them. Little paws tapped across the roof, hopping over the knight. He sighed curling himself up between them sensing the emotional waves from them both.

"You flatter me, but you've taught me alot too. Before people I had to learn my way through these little fellows."

She hummed petting the umbreon who nosed her hand back.

She started off setting her hands on her own stomach. Her fingers folded in each other as she laid there letting the sun land on her too. With the sun setting gently she worked to let her hang ups go with it.

"Hah, yeah he is a bit squishy.....I like it about him, but I can see the weakness too."

She admitted letting his wisdom continue to sink into her. It was nice getting to talk about something that struck her to her core. They hadn't done much of that even though she'd heard about some of his past. Maybe she should be open more often, at least with him.

"Bruno is soft and I love him for it. His resilience and compassion are admirable qualities that I strive to achieve myself."

"My lady Karen, The concept of forgiveness is thrown around a lot to dismiss the pain and anger of the survivors of abuse and neglect by those in power who have perpetrated the crimes upon those victims.

"Bruno is.. How did Petru put it.. 'Somewhat of a doormat'? He accepts things and let's go of things easily and hides his pain because there is not much he can grasp that stays permanently in place, as hard as he tries. He actively focuses on the good things that come. It takes a lot of work and effort to do.
